What I find interesting, besides the "it's time to move on" from his gaff, is: "I'm a veteran. I have fought all my life to help take care of veterans and to honor what service means."

When does he admit "owning," "They told the stories at times they had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam in addition to the normal ravage of war…"

"The country doesn't know it yet, but it has created a monster, a monster in the form of millions of men who have been taught to deal and to trade in violence….."

"there will be some recrimination but far, far less than the 200,000 a year who are murdered by the United States of America….."

There is a definite reason upwards of 80% of Veterans opposed him in 2004!!

Hanoi Boi's "fight" to "honor" the service of veterans is documented in his book, "Winter Soldiers" and was put on display back in the 70s when he threw a veteran's medals over the fence at the White House. Senate hearing transcripts during the Vietnam war is also a great source for learning more about Hanoi Boi's "fight."

He is barely a Veteran in name only, a technical veteran, if you will. A Real Veteran retains the honor and sense of duty we held during the fight.

Kerry never had any such honor or sense of duty, it's always been only about him.
