When asked about the Novak article ... Webb says he doesn't even know GatesI thought that was interesting. Don't know what the real story is, not having all that much faith in Novak, but he rarely is that far off base.

Their goal is and has been payback because of Clinton's impeachment. They also believed the exit polls and thought the 2000 election was stolen from them, as their cheating failed to win for Gore. Ergo, go after Bush.

You are most welcome,(thanks for the good photo)I have never stopped supporting DeLay and never will. And I rue the day that those who lied about him until he decided to leave,(and make no mistake no one had him throw out his decision was always his and his alone),get what they deserve. What comes around....

"At the end, J.D. realized he'd screwed up and did lots of positive radio, but it was too little too late. Mitchell and his negative charges were a gnat on J.D's back-side that could've been swatted away, if he hadn't made an issue of it. "
JD was done in by a gigantic anti-JD push by the Repulsive and the other uberlibs in the AZ media. No one other thing was the cause. Mitchell used lies and the media to win.

I disagree that Wallace's "liberal pedigree is impeccable." I'm not saying he's conservative, either, but I think he plays it straight most of the time, the way all journalists should.
To all those who thought Wallace was going to give Kerry a softball interview, I think Wallace asked all the right questions. It's true that Kerry danced around and didn't answer any questions, but Wallace would not move off topic despite Kerry desperately trying to change the subject. True, Wallace should have cut him off sooner a few times, but overall, I thought Wallace did a good job.

WELL!
That pretty much says it all. For both sides of the pond.

So Rangel is playing the draft card again?

Tester sounds like a RFK democratWell, he certainly relies on sound bites and platitudes and his deep compassion for the "middle class." We have no idea how he defines that. Actually, Tester struck me as an archtypical politician. He will look out for himself, and Montana to the extent that it helps him, will go along to get along, will very much enjoy being treated the way senators are treated in DC (i.e, like demi-gods), and will work under the radar to feather his nest. If he is a deep thinker, it was not on display today.

I believe the single most important point you made was how the DBM and particularly the Washington Post had trashed George Allen way before the Macacca nonsense. The DBM played a huge role in this election as most of us knew they would when the ridiculous CFR bill was passed. We as Republicans were hamstrung, and the DBM got to lie, accuse, omit facts, retell stories with misinformation, and behave more like Pravda than a decent legitimate News Source for Weeks on end. They knew that they would look bad after the fact, and they figured just one more election cycle in the tank for the Rats and then they would have the Rats in Power to take the Presidency back and keep control of Congress in Rat hands. They are figuring on the Conservatives coming back to them since they have this umbilical cord attachment to their morning Newspapers, and in some cases they are right. We have to drive them down to the gutter where they belong, but without the Conservatives/Republicans canceling their Papers, and not watching their News Programs they will not be punished. They are counting on the Republicans/Conservatives inability/no desire to seek news elsewhere. It is going to be hard work and will take sacrifice, but it must be done, and sooner not later. They are laughing at Conservatives for their short sightedness as we speak. We can do this, we just have to recognize the battle and plot the strategy to win.

Thanks for the story on Webb. I mentioned earlier, from across the country the stories on Webb only highlighted his conservative bent. Doesn't look like he has one.

I would also note that falls Church has been trying to enforce zoning and fire laws by cracking down on landlords who are renting apartments where illegals live 15-20 to a two room apartment. Funny you should mention this. We brought this same topic up on Control Congress yesterday on the radio.
It is happening all over the country. There are several things that can be done. A two week course is available e to local law enforcement that allows them to deal with illegals instead of calling ice immediately.
In addition as you mentioned it is against the law for landlords to rent to illegals and for employers to hire them. Once the locals start cracking down on these laws the result is usually the illegals will move to the next town.
It's not a fool proof method but those who care to save their towns or cities might want to look do the same. It and does work.

How ridulous each one of these conferences ends up with these sort of costumes dipicting the host nation here is a previous one.
President Bush and Canada's Prime Minister Paul Joseph Martin break out in laughter Saturday, Nov. 19, 2005, as they stand in on the back riser for the official APEC photograph.
