BENTONVILLE, AR, November 15, 2006 (LifeSiteNews.com) - A graphic sex-ed manual promoting lesbianism to teenage girls has been dropped by Wal-Mart only days after LifeSiteNews.com published a story exposing Wal-Mart's sale of the controversial book.

Produced by St. Stephens' Community House in Toronto, the book is titled "The Little Black Book for Girlz: A Book on Healthy Sexuality". Parents were outraged when they learned of the book which gives detailed instruction for teens to engage in lesbian sex acts.

"fighting for your cause"
Thank you for your opinion. Offhand, I do not disagree with anything you said. My cause in this thread was to respond to an attack by the ultra-right on WalMart. As I said several times in this thread, I am not gay nor do I support the gay agenda. Again, my cause is to leap to the defense of a great free-enterprise company which is now under attack by the radical left and by a small group within the right. I wish there was someway I could speak with greater conviction than my limited self to convey that message. The fault for not making this plain is mine alone. I am a conservative Baptist Christian, and although I must always be fearful of a just God, yet I feel that extreme human hatreds of fallen souls never avails salvation. The book should never be sold in a WalMart. As best as we can determine, it will not be sold there. You and I agree that is best.

One must do what one must do. However I question much of the sincerity of zealots who must resort to over exaggerted generalizations, twisting of facts, shouting, and just plain meanness to do so.

When the alleged "good guys" resort to those type tactics against the alleged "bad guys" I have to wonder who really are the bad guys. And it has nothing to do with this issue in particular, I've dealt with these type tactics for more than 20 years in media, government relations and PR.

Wal-mart should learn from Bush, you can not be on all sides. Pick a side and go with it. The Christan right and the Demorats are both against them for different reasons. I was sent a letter saying to boycott Wal-Mart after thanksgiving because 5% of earnings will go to a lesbian fund.

LOL - So you are a conservative Baptist!... I am surprised.

I do understand your point about Wal-Mart... but AGAIN... if a company wants to make money... please...stay away form taking sides like this. Just be neutral for God's sake!

I suspect that it is becuase homosexuals started pushing their cause to private companies for the past 20 years while we were asleep! :) They must have conviced businesses that it was a smart choice to pander to them.

The problem is we finally woke up! :)

Good night. :)

:) and you a perfect right to doubt it... today you never know with anything anymore.

People are different and express things sometimes perhaps in very... aggressive? hysteric? way? whatever.

To me personally, having been Catholic and let down by the actions on my ex-church.... you might say that I am indeed pissed off :)

I am tired of doing nothing, waiting for the Church to do the honorable thing (repent, apologize and clean up). Since they haven't, I have simply lost all respect for the church and its members as well. I am also tire of the homosexuals changing our culture and attacking via their pals (ACLU), everything I care about. SO, IS time to rumble! - LOL So yes, you got it right, I mean business... LOL (only words thought!)

Good night.

Which is an outright lie. If you shop IN WalMart, not a penny goes to some alleged "lesbian fund." If you access WalMart's website from a gay organization's website and make a purchase, then the gorup will get a 5% commission.

Any group that resorts to lying in order to push their agenda is most likely as bad, if not worse, than the group their agenda opposes.

I was referring to your hystrionic zealotry, as if you didn't know that.

I am also a former Catholic, but I deal with my problems with that church in a different manner.

I go to a retailer to buy things, not for moral guidance. Just as I do not go to my Church for consumer guidance.

These 2 supposed Christian organizations, in their utterally immoral manner of attacking a retailer, have placed many questions about anything they could possibly ever say. Deception has no place when one is seeking to "preach" morality, as deception is immoral in and of itself.

Good night.

"The sole reason he is giving is the $60,000 donation to some gay group."

He gives much more reason than that as you can see below.

"I think he protests too much..."

I think you have been doing a pretty good job of that yourself... considering your short amount of time here.

Wal-Mart Rolls Out Red Carpet For Homosexual Marriage

When Wal-Mart announced their support for the homosexual agenda a few weeks ago, they meant what they said. You will remember that Wal-Mart asked for, and received, permission to join the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC). The company announced they were giving two large grants to NGLCC. The world's largest retailer was rewarded with a position on the board of NGLCC. Wal-Mart also announced they would give preference to homosexual-owned businesses in purchasing products.

Justin Nelson, president of NGLCC, said he expects Wal-Mart to use its influence to pressure suppliers like P&G, Johnson & Johnson, and Gillette to give homosexual businesses preferential treatment. Wal-Mart is also working on a plan to provide domestic-partnership benefits to homsexual employee "partners." The NGLCC is a leading promoter of homosexual marriage.

Wal-Mart Sponsors Diversity Week, Includes How To Defeat A Constitutional Ban On Homosexual Marriage

Wal-Mart has given its full endorsement to the homosexual agenda and homosexual marriage. Boise State University in Boise, Idaho, will observe LGBT Diversity Week October 9–13. One of the sponsors for the Diversity Week is Wal-Mart.

Wal-Mart is joining the Pleasure Boutique (an adult bookstore which bills itself as "Idaho's largest selection of adult movies and DVDs and largest adult toy selection in Idaho") and other groups in sponsoring the week. Diversity Week is a week of celebrating homosexuality and promoting the homosexual agenda and homosexual marriage.

Among the events being sponsored by Wal-Mart is Idaho Votes No Campaign Update and Information Workshop. Voters in Idaho will be voting on a constitutional amendment banning same sex marriage in November. This Wal-Mart sponsored event will inform voters how to oppose the amendment and how to get others to do so. Wal-Mart is putting their money behind the effort to legalize homosexual marriage.

Other events being sponsored by Wal-Mart: Gay History of Idaho, Diversity in the Workplace, Women's/Lesbian Issues, Hate Based Crimes, Heterosexism, Homosexuality and Disabilities, LGBT Youth in Trouble, MCC-Faith and LGBT, and a youth dance for those age 24 and under.

We earlier reported on Wal-Mart throwing their clout and cash behind the homosexual marriage effort.

Ford Continues Showing Support for Homosexual Marriage

Ford Motor Company continues to financially support the pro-homosexual agenda. The latest issue of The Advocate, a homosexual publication, heavily promoted Shortbus, a new film containing graphic, explicit pornographic homosexual sex. Ford, as it has done for years, supported The Advocate with a full-page ad.

Ford told AFA they would pull their advertising support for homosexual media, then reneged on the agreement after a handful of homosexual leaders confronted Ford.

Ford also refused the request of 44 pro-family groups to remain neutral in the battle over homosexual marriage. Ford has decided to support the homosexual agenda rather than remain neutral. Ford's actions have made it perfectly clear that the company has no intentions of ending its support for the homosexual agenda, regardless of the economic loss to the company.

From redefining family to include homosexual marriage, to giving hundreds of thousands of dollars to support homosexual groups, to forcing employees to attend "diversity" training on how to promote the acceptance of homosexuality, to sponsoring Gay Pride Day parades, to sponsoring a "commitment (marriage) ceremony," to giving thousands of dollars to support homosexual magazines, Ford leads the way. The goal of every homosexual organization supported by Ford is to legalize homosexual marriage.

For detailed information on Ford’s total commitment to the homosexual agenda, go to BoycottFord.com. Ford brands include Ford, Mercury, Lincoln, Mazda, Volvo, Jaguar, and Land Rover.

78 Dealers Ask Ford to Stop Supporting the Homosexual Agenda

American Family Radio's KidzRadio - 24 Hour Radio for Kids - Click here to listen live!Ford gives donation to pro-homosexual marriage group

Great news! Read the dealer's letter to Bill Ford before you continue.

Ford sales have consistently dropped since AFA began the boycott. The drop in March was 5%, April 7%, May 2%, June 6.8%, and July 4.1%.

Ford has made yet another donation to a homosexual group pushing homosexual marriage. And they continued supporting homosexual marriage with ads in two homosexual publications—The Advocate and OUT.

Ford is listed by Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) as being a "Topaz" sponsor of PFLAG. PFLAG did not identify the specific amount required to be a Topaz sponsor, perhaps because they did not want the amount made public. Nevertheless, it requires a considerable sum to be a PFLAG "Topaz" sponsor.

Here is the policy statement from PFLAG: "PFLAG supports revision of federal and state statutes to extend to persons in same-gender committed relations the right to marry with the full legal rights and benefits, as well as responsibilities and obligations." PFLAG is a leader in promoting the pro-homosexual agenda and legalizing homosexual marriage

Ford obviously agreed with the goal of PFLAG to legalize homosexual marriage, else they would not have made the donation to help PFLAG.

When Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays (PFOX), an organization helping homosexuals come out of the homosexual lifestyle, asked Ford for a grant, Ford refused. In fact, in our research AFA did not find that Ford gave a donation of any amount to any organization helping those who want out of the homosexual lifestyle. Ford says they are committed to diversity, but their definition of diversity is evidently confined to supporting only pro-homosexual organizations.

Ford continued their support of the homosexual lifestyle by advertising in the August, 2006 issues of both The Advocate and OUT. They placed a full page ad in OUT and two full pages in The Advocate. Ford has been supporting homosexual media with advertising for years.

What kind of material is Ford supporting? Here is the front cover of The Advocate along with one of the Ford ads. The pictorial contents inside the magazines are so offensive that we could not include them in this mailing. Here are some titles of the articles in the magazines: Is Porn An Option, At Your Service (male escort), The Book Of Lesbian Love, Five Sex Tips For Gay Men, Five Sex Tips For Lesbians, and Private D--K In A Hard Place.

According to the Detroit Free Press, Ford "donates hundreds of thousands of dollars to homosexual groups, sponsors gay pride parades, and holds mandatory diversity training..."

The National Education Association: What Kind Of Organization Is This Which Sets The Agenda For Our Children In Public Schools?

When we learned about the NEA plans to approve homosexual marriage, we alerted our supporters. Following our making the resolution public, the NEA promptly removed it from their web-site. Our efforts upset NEA president Reg Weaver so much that he attacked AFA in a speech to the 9,000 delegates at the convention.

Background On The NEA

To understand why the NEA is more interested in pushing a liberal social agenda than making sure our children can read, write and do math—and why public education is in the mess it is in-please read some background by clicking here.

Here are a few of the actions which the NEA approved at their meeting in Orlando.

* NEA overwhelmingly passed a resolution (B 10) endorsing gay marriages and adoptions in states where they're legal. Click here and read the first three paragraphs.
* NEA recommended that gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender issues be required content for teacher credentialing. (Teachers would be forced to undergo sensitivity training concerning homosexuality before they could be certified to teach.) Here is the wording of the resolution: "That NEA advocate for the inclusion of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender issues in the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) teacher education program review process." NEA has already contacted NCATE about this.
* NEA voted to replace the word "tolerance" toward homosexuality with "acceptance and respect" in union policies. The author of New Business Item 52 used this rationale: "We should teach acceptance and respect, not tolerance, of those who are different from us wherever appropriate." (The NEA is saying that "tolerance" of the homosexual lifestyle isn't enough, that homosexuality must be accepted and respected.) Click Here for more information.
* NEA refused to pass an amendment (I 24) designed to protect students against sexual misconduct by teachers. The amendment read "To protect the rights of all students, the Association believes sexual contact between education professionals and minor students is unacceptable." The NEA refused to pass the amendment and referred it back to the Resolutions Committee. Many feel that the NEA refused to pass the amendment in order to protect teachers who have sex with students. Click Here and go to the bottom of page 3. Read the section "Resolution I-24 Floor Discussion Vote.

NEA Being Less Than Honest

The NEA has been less than honest in dealing with this situation. Andy Linebaugh, a spokesman for the NEA, told Cybercast News Service that "leadership of the NEA has no interest in advancing a position on same-sex marriage." To see the entire news release, click here.

NEA president Reg Weaver, in a release posted on the website of its Kansas affiliate, said the AFA had engaged in a "malicious e-mail campaign distorting the facts related to proposed amendment changes." Like Linebaugh, he added that "the NEA has no position on same-sex marriages, and leadership is not seeking to establish such a position."

On the NEA homepage on July 19, there was a message pertaining to the NEA's support of homosexual marriage.

"A smear campaign launched by the American Family Association asserted that the National Education Association was set to 'endorse homosexual marriage' at the 2006 Representative Assembly. Either the group is intentionally misleading the public, or didn't bother to check their information, but NEA has no plans to endorse same sex marriage and never did."

However, just weeks before the statements by Linebaugh and Weaver denying that NEA had taken a position, the NEA was a signatory on a letter to U.S. Senators strongly opposing the Federal Marriage Amendment. To see the letter, click here. On the third page you will find where the NEA signed the letter opposing the Federal Marriage Amendment. So when Linebaugh and Weaver said that the NEA has taken no position, they are being less than honest. The NEA opposed the constitutional amendment making marriage legal only between one man and one woman. That is their position as indicated by signing the letter.

The California Teachers Association, NEA's largest state affiliate, endorsed homosexual marriage in 2004. Click here to see their endorsement.

For more information of NEA's support of the homosexual lifestyle, click here to see background material from a delegate to the NEA convention.

For more information on NEA finances and the left-wing causes they support with gifts, click here.

NEA Running Stealth Campaign Again Public School Reform

Here is another example of how the NEA works. Shortly after the convention in Orlando, USA Today in an article (July 11, page 9D) reported: "The nation's largest teachers union has spent more than $8 million in a stealth campaign against President Bush's education reform law, paying for research and political opposition in an effort to derail it, according to a Washington think tank that supports the law...the National Education Association (NEA) has given at least $8.1 million to education, civil rights and policy groups that have opposed or criticized No Child Left Behind, Bush's far-reaching and controversial effort to reform public schools."

Many members of the NEA are not aware how the NEA is using their dues to promote leftwing politics. They can drop their membership in the NEA and secure many of the same benefits by joining other professional organizations which offer the same benefits. The Association of American Educators is one. You can visit them on the web at http://www.aaeteachers.org. Also, Christian Educators offers many of the same benefits. Their website is http://www.ceai.org.

Democrats Go On Record In Support Of Homosexual Marriage

New Jersey ruling only the tip of the iceberg

Activists pushing for legalizing homosexual marriage say they will not stop with just homosexual marriage. They demand more. They want government and societal acceptance, approval and financial support for many kinds of relationships, including polygamy. And the Democratic Party says it will help them achieve their goal.

Activists say that marriage is "not the only worthy form of family or relationship," and it "should not be legally or economically privileged above others." The statement was signed by 270 homosexual rights activists and heterosexual allies.

Other kinds of relationships that they say deserve marriage-like benefits include "committed, loving households in which there is more than one conjugal partner (polygamy)" and "queer couples who decide to jointly create and raise a child with another queer person or couple, in two households." The goal of the activists is the destruction of traditional marriage.

The Democrat National Committee has developed plans to help the homosexual activists achieve their goal. Democratic National Committee (DNC) spokesman Danien LaVera says the DNC has developed a five-point plan to help homosexuals block any legislation which prohibits homosexual marriage, and to push homosexual marriage.

LaVera said the DNC strongly opposes efforts to ban homosexual marriage by amending the federal or state constitutions and that the Democratic party plans to step up efforts to promote pro-homosexual marriage bills in several states.

Democratic parties in eight states have already adopted platforms endorsing homosexual marriage bills. They include New York, California, Washington, Iowa, Alaska, Colorado, Massachusetts and Hawaii.

Here is the 5-point plan LaVera said the Democratic National Committee has developed to fight for homosexual marriage:

* Labeling efforts to ban homosexual marriage as "divisive" ploys by the Republicans and others to deflect voter attention from other important issues..."

* Begin a "party-building" operation which includes specific training for state Democratic operatives in all 50 states on how to campaign against ballot measures banning homosexual marriage.

* Working closely with the gay group National Stonewall Democrats to "develop strategy and talking points' to combat state measures defining marriage as being between one man and one woman.

* Working cooperatively with homosexual organizations fighting ballot measures in each state where they surface, providing campaign advice, expertise, and logistical and financial support.

* Empowering and organizing homosexual communities around the country with the help of the DNC's new homosexual outreach organizer Brian Bond.

"don't think anyone is attacking Walmarts"
Several posters on this and similar threads have said because of the reports from AFA and LifeSite they would stop buying from WalMart. They said that they were told 5% of what they spent would go to gays. That story was wrong. I and others explained that was wrong.

"hating homosexuals"
It is a matter of debate whether Christians should 'hate homosexuals', but my only point was that we should avoid hatred if it meant that we should stop buying from anyplace that sold to, or advertised to, homosexuals. I for one made no judgement about homosexuals, per se.

"ultra-right"
I am right-wing conservative, but I have mixed feelings about the group headed by Rev. Wildmon (AFA). He is here in my new home state, but he does not always speak for me. I consider him ultra-right. I hold no hatred for him as a person.

As for you, I think you are a nice person...

I am tired of doing nothing, waiting for the Church to do the honorable thing (repent, apologize and clean up). Since they haven't, I have simply lost all respect for the church and its members as well.

I'm a devote member. We have over 3000 members at our church and no abuse or in the past in the entire diocese. I read stories every week about the scandal, even today, two Priests were removed by their Bishop. So they are cleaning it up and Bishops have apologized from stories I have read. Also I have read where some Priests were accused falsely and won in court. We have a new Priest at our Parish, whom some don't care for because he is not as charismatic as the Priest prior. So they went to the Parish across town. I said why? I go to Church for Christ, not how well I like the Priest.

The Church, Christ's Bride is on the road to calvary. There is alot written about this, which we could discuss later if you wish. This scandal will not topple the Church nor more than Clinton toppled the White House. Christ said the Gates of Hell will not prevail. He told us what was coming. The good Priests suffer as well as not being able to wear their collars anywhere without people thinking they are after their children. Everyone has been affected is some way or another. Whole other range of areas too, groups of error, false teachers that are trying to destroy the Church as well. I am not going to abandoned Christ as He was abandoned during His passion.
Those that brought the scandal upon the Church answer to Christ not to me.

Everyone has to start sometime. I have been reading posts in FR for years. I worked all day, ever day, and lots of hours at night, as an accountant. I retired when I began having vision problems. I can't understand why WalMart would even allow that. They have to know that most of their customers would object to it. I'm glad to hear it's not much of a success except if the gays know it now, they might change their minds.
