HAVANA A Black Panther who hijacked a passenger jet from San Francisco to communist Cuba in 1969 has died on the island where he spent 37 years in exile.
William Lee Brent died from bronchial pneumonia at age 75 on November 4th, according to his sister in Oakland.
Elouise Rawlins says she learned of her brother's death through telephone calls and messages from friends and acquaintances. But she has not received official word from the U.S. or Cuban governments.
Rawlins says she had not seen her brother since he used a handgun to hijack T-W-A Flight 154 from San Francisco to Havana on June 17, 1969. They stayed in contact through e-mails and telephone calls.
She says she didn't know he was ill and doesn't know if he was buried.
Another commie bites the dust.
Do I care?
Good.
Oh yeah, I'll not send an RIP to his corpse.
How's that free healthcare?
Enough to post...
Smoked one too many of those Cubano cigars coupled with no health care to speak of.
It was worth every penny.
Too bad so sad! Hope he enjoyed his forty years in the commie paradise. Maybe that Cuban medical care ain't so great after all!
You need to get a "Do I look like someone who really gives a $hit?" button. I'd loan you mine, but it's been getting a lot of use lately.
I appreciate your offer. I'll check WalMart for one this weekend . . .
I hope his death was slow and painful.
PLEase excuse me if I find next to impossible to shed a tear for this piece of human excrement.
Even enemies eventually get old.
Only thing I can say is that in the old hijacking days, they just flew the plane to cuba where it landed safely on the ground. Now they want to fly the planes into buildings or blow them up in mid-air. The cuba days seem almost quaint by comparison.
DILLIGAS?
or
WhoGAS?
May he rot in hell.
As I said last night, have the Congressional Democrats scheduled the memorial service yet?
Cuba libre', one commie at a time!
"Rawlins says she had not seen her brother since he used a handgun to hijack T-W-A Flight 154 from San Francisco to Havana..."
He hijacked a plane to get INTO Cuba? Genius. /s
