The rumors that chief White House political architect Karl Rove will leave sometime next year are being bolstered with new insider reports that his partisan style is a hurdle to President Bush's new push for bipartisanship. A key Bush advisor tells the US News Political Bulletin, "Karl represents the old style and he's got to go if the Democrats are going to believe Bush's talk of getting along." The advisor said a departure might come in "weeks, not months." A Rove ally, however, noted that he has a record of out-witting his critics.
First I do not believe any MSM outlet. Second Rove & Bush won 3 elections and 2 Governor elections. Third Congress lost this election. Bush and Rove are 5 for 6 that is pretty darn good.
W will be ranked in the top 10.
This is for anyone who ever believed, and fell for that "rope-a-dope" crap: You were roped in, like the proverbial big fat dope Rove thought you were.
Rove has been with President Bush since 1990 or so and is responsible for his rise in politics. If Rove leaves, I seriously doubt it's becasue Bush asks him to leave.
Personally, I hope Rove stays because you don't quit in the middle of a war becasue you lost one battle.
Loyalty is #1 to Bush and Rove has shown it over and over again.
Sour puss.

Do you want to see absolute insanity? If so, go to the thread on the new movie, Happy Feet or the HOA thread.
I went there as you suggested. Funny thing, just the other day a liberal told me that conservatives NEED someone to think for them and tell them what to do, how to live their lives, etc. etc. He sited Rush and all the other conservative talk show hosts. Of course I made all the "correct" dissing comments.
But then reading a thread like Happy Feet sets me back a moment!! That entire thread makes conservatives look like SHEEPLE!
Kristol is McCainiac, enough said. I only hear him when he is on the panel with someone I care to listen to - which is becoming very rare.
Savage is just that, I heard him few times when I was in Las Vegas and he was still only local - never had interest in hearing his whining.
Lowry is flowery, flows where the wind blows - if he has a strong opinion on something you wouldn't know it.
Who is spreading the rumor? Unknown sources are usually far from reliable!
Always look at the sign-up dates of posters who say such things. :-)
;)
Maybe Jim should start a section for Fair Weather Freepers!!
They cheer when Bush does "A" & "B", then scream bloody murder when "C" happens!
Darn, it must be hard to be perfect like some of these FWF's here!!!!
I swear I have seen similar posts all year long by DUmmies, on the DUFU threads!!!
You aren't the only one! :-)
I love insanity. It is much better than running for the security of the "ahh, yup" crowd. Civil discourse with regards to the party failures is called for at this juncture. Dodging the issues has hurt the body politic, IMHO.
You have been successful in running off many good people that contributed to this great forum. Even demanded that I no longer communicate with you. Please look around at the freshman class here on FR. It is degenerating into little more than "clicks" of groups with hurt feelings that constantly hurl barbs. I offer dialogue that will be stimulating and, upon occasion contrary. Accept this approach and re-engage, or continue to shun those of us that may not be in lock step. I respected you and like you.
Yeah, W was kind of foisted on us, and he's did some things that gave us hope, but in the end he is what he is -- his fathers son.
LOL, Phil, that is a funny one!!
Good one Phil -
Now if I can just po s
