I love insanity. It is much better than running for the security of the "ahh, yup" crowd. Civil discourse with regards to the party failures is called for at this juncture. Dodging the issues has hurt the body politic, IMHO.
You have been successful in running off many good people that contributed to this great forum. Even demanded that I no longer communicate with you. Please look around at the freshman class here on FR. It is degenerating into little more than "clicks" of groups with hurt feelings that constantly hurl barbs. I offer dialogue that will be stimulating and, upon occasion contrary. Accept this approach and re-engage, or continue to shun those of us that may not be in lock step. I respected you and like you.
I'm noticing that, too. The Pragmatics seem to think the best course of action for 2008 is to shame the base with an endless barrage of insults.
I'd tell them it's not going to work, but what's the point? They can't hear inside the echo-chamber anyway. If they were half as critical of the party as they are of the voters who didn't rally behind the slop the GOP offered, we might be in business.
