Pelosi's pushing pal Murtha forced The NY Times to belatedly acknowledge that the "culture of corruption" is bipartisan - not just a Republican evil, as Times news stories and editorials kept suggesting until the election.

The key word there is "after."

I have had several female bosses over the years. There was only one who was like Pelosi - but the similarity is striking.

She even looked like Pelosi.

She was petty, vindictive, mean, and a liar. My wife would like to add "and a bitch."

I have had an experience or two with petty mean vicious women bosses. When they get down on someone they are unfit for the business world. The woman boss I have now is extraordinarily competent.

Some of the guy bosses I have had, have not been the best either. Men just display their traits differently than women.

On election day, the lowest price for gas in my county - in MD - was 2.06. Since then, that station - a WaWa - now prices regular at 2.13. Other stations in the area range from 2.15 to 2.19. This morning at the beginning of Neal Cavuto's repeated program, he stated gas prices dropped - which would be yesterday. I will look at the pumps and see if this is reflected. I do find it beyond a coincidence that after the election, gas prices went up.

All my female bosses have been great except for one and she was dumb as a bag of hammers. It's hard to overcome dumb.

Nancy probably never played team sports. If my daughter has learned anything from years of playing soccer it is you don't have to like Sally to work with her. It is a lesson that is serving her well as she moves into the workplace.
