Tom is honest. He was not convicted of any crimes, just the victim of Ronnie Earle, who also went after Kay Bailey Hutchinson at one time. He only attacks Repubicans. He took the indictment against Tom to 6 grand juries, the first five turned him down. Evidentally the 6th one was full of liberals.

Well, if they actually *did* erase
files...I hope they made sure to erase any back-ups and DoD Overwrite them all as well.

Why would an honest person resign from office?
To: buffyt
hey....I'm ticked off at Delay.....if he is honest, why did he have 3 staffers plead guilty.....and ONE was on the take for God's sake.....if 3 Staffers of Harry Reid were indicted, you'd be calling for his head.....damn I hate hypocrisy.....Corruption was all over the place....hell, even Ralph Reed got caught up in it......I am one Repub who wont' put his head in the sand about the shenanigans surrounding MY party

You forgot to mention that the 6th indictment occurred within 24 hours of him requesting it. That was not even enough time to read over all the evidence.

Then they'd like her. I gather she was a real piece of work on the Houston City Council.

Could be they wanted to make sure everything was deleted before the office is turned over to a Donk in January.

Tom is honest. Now how much was it he paid to his wife and daughter to work in his election?? But then maybe that was just questionable ethics. Either way it was just wrong.

Maybe the staff didn't like working for someone honest. If indeed that's the case, I hope Sekula-Gibbs runs for the seat in two years.
