You don't see many Sihks following many of those rules, at least not any of the ones I know. The guy who runs the local garage drinks like a fish, is always bugging me for deer meat, is a typical male when it comes to women, will never turn down an offer to get a drink and watch the strippers, smokes, Yet he is very involved in his temple, which I have been invited to several times, ( they have a great smorg in the basement after the service) Thre are many different Sihk secs, and some of them aren't very nice.
Yea, they hav their extremists also...remember the Indian prime minister who was assassinated by two of them?
There are many cults within Sikhism too.
