a man claimed a Bigfoot-like creature took a deer from the back of his truck.

Around here, if you steal a deer from a hunters pick-up, you can count on being shot.

The ancient native americans believed so much in Bigfoot, or as they called him 'Sasquach," they even named a Canadian province after him, Sasquachawan. ;-)

A bunch of anthropoligists were nosing around an Indian reservation when an Indian found them. "What are you hunting for?" he asked. "Sasquatch." a Dr. said. "What is that?" the Indian asked? "You know. A big, hairy smelly old thing." was the answer. "OHHHH, you mean squaw snatch." he was told. (Gee, I just had to do it.) Sorry.

I was making a joke, I know you all know what a whitetail looks like. We down here in abandoned coal mine country think a 200 pound deer is huge.

Down here camo and guns go together, and bows, muzzleloaders, etc.

Tennessee has a small reintroduction project. Right across the state line from me, in Kentucky, they have a BIG reintroduction project. I'm sitting right here in between the two, in traveling distance for the elk.

If I ever see any bigfoot looking animals around here I'll blame it on the moonshine (snicker), but it will probably be a wandering elk or a bear, since we have these too.

I was making a joke,

I know & I was throwing one back atcha. :o} I'd think it more likely to be a llama than a deer, cuz seeing them running around free is still very rare.

Down here camo and guns go together, and bows, muzzleloaders, etc.

Some use a bright orange camo for both bow & gun/rifle seasons, but a lot of others have different outfits for each. Early bow season starts early enough where they can be dealing with much warmer weather than gun season. I don't think we have a season for muzzleloaders, though there may be one for handguns, but I'm not sure, cuz I don't know anyone that hunts with them.
