Great, another RINO in charge of the GOP. This just keeps getting worse and worse.

I prefer Jeff Sessions, too, but he wasn't running. For whatever reason, the choice was Lott or Lamar.
Personally, I prefer Lott, who at least knows something.

I have maintained for some time that a large portion of our failure was not simply the drumbeat of the mainstream media, but the constant, often viscious criticism, by columnists and TV pundits who are
supposed to be on our side.
Their efforts to prove themselves superior to the President and more conservative than the administration demoralized a great many people and emboldened the left to increase their attacks. Heck...they even gave the Rats some talking points: incompetence, betrayal of conservatives, lack of a balanced budget, etc. etc.
One good thing is that I won't be spending money on these leeches any more. They have sold me their last book.
And I wouldn't got to CPAC if I got a free ticket.

Reason number four hundred and fifty three as to why I cannot listen to nor pay attention to the news for a while.....
I think my head wants to find some sand to bury itself in so all this will just go away......

Ditto, Miss Marple.
The viscious attacks clearly affected the election. But who among the talking heads has the honor to take partial responsibility for what happened?
None that I know of......

No, they are now blaming the President!
I have no use for any of them. I am watching a lot of Food Netwrok and reading actual books of a NON-political nature.

THAT's MY hope....McConnell keeps Lott on a short leash and focused on what he NEEDS to do for REPUBLICAN's/CONSERVATIVES....not making nicey nice with the Dems.

Thank you for reminding the hysterics, who are also historical knowledge impaired, the FACTS!
To: Miss Marple
What keeps me going is that in the scheme of history, President Bush will be a giant, and all the political entertainers will be absolutely nothing.
The only thing that they will have accomplished is to have helped make the last two years of his Presidency a nightmare, and put at risk our soldiers and our national security.
The blame will go where it belongs............and it won't be on the ONE man who is fighting to keep us safe.

Now is this where Lott approaches Harry Reid and discusses a *joint, bi-partisan, shared* leadership for the good of the country?
