This negative attitude is certainly not helpful. Negative attitude? Hell, I'm positively LIVID; I've HAD a positive attitude for six years, in case you haven't noticed.
What I have come to realize it is it not a two way streets, so I'm done now.
And don't lecture me.

I agree. He shouldn't have stepped aside in the first place. If it were not for GOP wimps he wouldn't have.

Still, during his more than 30 years in Congress, Lott said he has learned something about how to keep the likes of Coburn from stopping his pet projects from becoming law. Coburn is the finest conservative Senator we have. He's about the only one who truly realizes that love of pork and earmarks are killing the GOP. And what does Lott do? Play hide the piggy from Tom, instead of realizing the harm he causes the party. Despicable.

It seems like years ago, in another "land," doesn't it?
It had to be a parallel universe.

Don't cry about Martinez. Check out who is really going to be in control of RNC. That guy is a fireball. The President makes this pick and the calculation is that the Hispanic vote is necessary for maintaining a Republican majority because of the West.
Republicans need to defend the borders while not alienating Hispanics who are legal citizens.
This is hell. But, it has to be done in some way.

I read this as a strong signal that our guys are going to fight the rats in the Senate. I've said it before and I'll say it again .....
Had they fought the RATS in the SINate for the past 2 years, we would not be on this thread today. We would still be celebrating last weeks victory.

"They'll stop giggling when they think of the situation with Murtha...." That's true...they are being very "in your face" and open about moving quickly to the left. It may not play well with the American public.
What would be really nice would be if our guys had a coherent plan, or at least coherent principles, to stand up for. Instead, they are just drifting around. It makes me think that, with some exceptions, principle is not the primary thing that makes them tick.

Looks like it will be a while longer before I'm back to my usually upbeat, optimistic ways.
So now it's *On to victory*, brave Republicans. bwha...hah.....

It seriously may be time for conservatives all over the U.S. to completely abandon the Republican Party and then successfully create "The Conservative Party"! Sorry, I don't think there is enough time before we lose the whole ball of wax. I would love for this to happen! I get closer to declaring No Party Affiliation every day.
But guess what? The ultimate downfall of this nation is supposed to happen. It will happen. It is the End of Days folks. The NWO cannot arise along with the Anti Christ so long as America stands free, proud and powerful.
RAPTURE READY?

Exactly. The problem with conservatives is illustrated well in this forum. They start believing the analysis of the left and they throw people overboard to shut the whining left up. I'd like to see one elected official punch out a race baiting reporter either verbally or physically. Lott was treated horribly and I'm glad to see him back.

FR trantrums starting to resemble DU tantrums.
Interesting to watch, but kind of pathetic.
Instead of focussing on the demons who want to undermine our national security we bash our own.

Nothing is going to return the GOP to conservative roots when you have purists that believe "teach the GOP a lesson" will work as it turns power over to the dems.
We cannot tolerate the dem party in this country if we want to survive. So apparently the "teach the GOP a lesson" crowd need to realize THEY are voting in the dems and therefore they are supporting the democratic party.
And when democrats win - it is read as the country wants liberalism - not that the country wants to return to GOP conservative roots.
Your teaching is wrong - find another way to make your point. Or, our families will not be safe.
