I hope you understand that every time you make an argument like that you further reinforce the idea that Rudy Giuliani is nothing more than an opportunistic fraud.

I hope you realize that if we prohibit "oppurtunistic frauds" from running for office, 99.9% of potential candidates from both parties would be unqualified.

The next President will be Rudy, or it will be Hillary. The sooner you choose, the easier the next two years will be on you.

Yep, I'm dealing with it. The next two years are gonna be way too much fun to watch! The media and liberal democrats are dirty dogs ... they always turn on their own ... I realize that hasn't been the case in the past 14 years ... however ... just watch.

That's why I would have no problem writing in "Ronald McDonald" if it comes down to Rudy vs. Hillary in 2008.

You would think that some people around here didn't learn ANYTHING from the last election.

When Pubbies behave like Dims, the voters choose the Real Thing rather than the pretender.

Let's examine the record for the last 30 years, shall we?

1976 - Moderate Pubbie vs. Democrat. Pubbie loses.
1980 - Conservative Pubbie vs. Democrat. Pubbie wins.
1984 - Ditto
1988 - Moderate Pubbie ( hand-picked replacement for previous conservative Pubbie) vs. Democrat. Pubbie wins.
1992 - Moderate Pubbie vs. Democrat. Pubbie loses.
1996 - Moderate Pubbie vs. Democrat. Pubbie loses.
2000 - Conservative Pubbie vs. Democrat. Pubbie wins.
2004 - Conservative Pubbie vs. Democrat. Pubbie wins.

Run Lefty Rudy against Hillary and Hillary will walk away with the election.

Why not run a real conservative? Reagan showed how it's done.

The "vote for him because he has an "R" after his name" is about as lame and short-sighted as the "fear Hillary" crud.

The very people who can't understand why blacks historically vote Democrat even though that party doesn't represent them well are now regularly expecting conservatives to vote Republican ... regardless of whether or not the "R" shares the voter's core values.

Rudy is an excellent law and order type, but that is his only attraction for me. I would never, and I do mean never, vote for Rudy in a presidential race.

Nonsense. I have every confidence that Rudy will be the next President of the United States of America. I was behind Rudy before it was cool.

Get with the program y'all, It's Rudy, or it's Hillary. Everything else is just talk.

Maybe you should check to see where Bill Clinton was polling at this time in 1992, or John Kerry in 2004. It's amazing how often the supposed "frontrunners" are annointed a year and a half before the party conventions, and people actually buy the hype, despite the fact that they often cannot carry the momentum through the primaries where people find out what they really believe.

The next President will be Rudy, or it will be Hillary.

That's certainly what the communists in the MSM want you to believe. I wonder: Why?

Stuff the bandwagon politics.

Well, let's hope our only other choice isn't Commie McCain.

I wouldn't elect him street sweeper.

He'd make a good street cop - that's about his limits.

The more visible this phoney becomes, the more Republicans will shy away from a guy who made a career of supporting liberal Democratic candidates in his neck of the woods.

Even the obnoxious McPane never did that.

The last thing we need is more social liberalism in the Republican Party, and Rudy is very much a social liberal.

Over pandering to the Social Conservatives is one of the reasons we lost

The abortion issue went down in flames in South Dakota, Stem Cells past in Missouri, Dick DeVos was leading in Michigan until he started talking creationism nonsense, Rick Santourum lost by almost 20 points and is now unemployed, and even beyond Tuesday's disaster, The Kansas School Board members who pushed creationism mythology over science were defeated in the Republican primary, And if that whole embarrassing brain dead women thing happen in this past October or September instead of January 2005 we would have lost 10-20 senate seats and 50-100 house seats at minimum.

And of course the Theocrat's golden boy, ex-judge Roy Moore suffered a humiliating defeat by almost 40 points also in a Republican Primary in Alabama and now that buffoon wallows in obscurity writing poetry.

Now if Roy Moore couldn't win or even come close in Alabama and the pro-life issue couldn't win in South Dakota, what does that say about needing more Theocrats to run?

Rudy is a "social conservative" (e.g. legislationg morality) on the gun issue, not a libertarian.

That's one program I am not signing up for.

Would you mind telling me when the last time a yankee was elected president?
