It seems odd that the DNC feel the need to comment on a republican mentioning that he's just thinking or exploring the possibility to run for president. Clearly the dems are a little worried about him.

They are VERY scared of him. I don't remember such statements in the past.

That's because Rudy will cut deeply into Hilary's votes. He would probably be able to carry California and/or New York. Of course, they are scared of him. Unfortunately I am too, but for different reasons....

Clearly the dems are a little worried about him. This is probably one of their new strategies. I suggest when her majesty announces her exploratory committee, some of us FReepers help the RNC write the response.

Yep....thought it was very odd reading it myself - I get the distinct feeling the Democrats are terrified of him.

I'm unlikely to vote for Guiliani in a Republican primary, opting for a more conservative candidate. However, IF he were the Republican nominee and faced Hillary in the general election, then I have NO PROBLEM WHATSOEVER voting for him to save this country from another round of Clinton. Some of these "Suicide Conservatives" who oppose Rudy or McCain at ALL COSTS will get all of us pinched.

They are very afraid of Rudy, they know he can win. They will do everything they can to destroy him with the republicans and independents voters

Because he'll carry NY, Penn, NJ, MD and Ohio for the GOP.
They should be very afraid.

No they aren't. They simply are taking the opportunity to remind the Christian conservative base not to vote for him.
They didn't need to tell me that.
Part of me wants to see him get the nomination, just so the "moderates" (read that as pro-aborts) will finally see just how big an issue that is.
He'll get trounced if he gets the nomination.
