You'd be amazed at how few people really know how bad she really is and when the media gets done building her up she is going to be walking on water.
So you go ahead and vote your ideals in 2008 but when Hillay wins, don't whine for the next eight years.
BTW, I like Newt Gingrich, too... but his comments about health care (worked with Hillary) have me a little concerned... for someone who is a real conservative. Newt is taking healthcare to the big-brother stage and I don't want that. And, again, the things you are all saying about Rudy being liberal are all things DC should not be in the middle of anyway, we need to elect conservative State Representative to make certain we don't have gay marriage, abortions or gun control.
Exactly. My own fiance thinks Hillary is a strong woman to be admired (she's not a flaming liberal btw). She looks at her as some kind of martyr for the way she stood by Billy during the Lewinsky ordeal. She sees her successful run into the senate and a great story of a woman who was treated by her husband like dirt, only to come back and make a name for herself. This is not an unusual attitude toward Hillary.
Naturally I am trying to disabuse her of these notions, but the fact of the matter is that the truth about Hillary is very hard to believe if you are casual observer, simply because it is so horrible. People's natural reaction is "that can't possibly be true, she can't be that horrible, it must be a far right lie". That is why we have to beat Hillary with a better candidate, not with bringing out the truth about her. We won't be believed. Rudy is the one man who can do this.
