You are going to hear a lot of noise about Iraq. It will be just that noise. The Democrat Appeasement Monkeys and the Dincons Neo Isolationists think they are back in the charge after Tuesday. They aren't. President Bush is still Commander in Cheif.
The Junk Media wants to create the image that the Democrat Congress can dictate policy on Iraq. They cannot. So you will see a lot of posturing on Iraq but very little action. The reason is the Democrats KNOW they do not have the votes.
What happens on Iraq is up to President Bush. All the Democrats are trying to do is create the PR image that they "forced" Bush to "Fix" Iraq when he continues to let the existing plan go forward uninterrupted.
Now that Iraq is won and in the mopping up stages, Old Boy Washington DC on both sides of the asile have to rush in to present the image that THEY fixed it rather then have to admit, along with the Democrat Party Leadership, that they have been all wrong about Iraq from the start. They will do everything they can to create the PR image that they, not Bush "won" Iraq. It will be up to us to set the record straight over and over and over. Iraq Policy was never "broken" the Junk Media simply failed to report both sides of the story.
Read the data about Iraq. Read the dozens of articles Freeper Sandrat posts every day. We have won in Iraq it was simply a matter of mopping up the remnants and finish the turn over to the Iraqis. NOW the question is will President Bush let the Dincons and the Surrender Now Democrats throw it away? I suspect NO he will not

Pelosi and Murtha.
In the months leading up to the mid-term election, President Bush has said that he is quite surprised and concerned that many Americans aren't taking the war on terror seriously.
His concerns were verified by the fact that 2/3 of these unserious complacent Republican voters didn't show up at the polls. It was your typical run-of-the-mill mid-term election where only about 30% - 32% bother to make the effort to vote.
What an opening this provided for the RATS. All they had to do was count on 2/3 of the Republicans sitting at home ___as they usally do in the mid-terms___ and motivating their base plus the flakey, unstable independent vote. That's all it took to give them a narrow edge at the polls nationwide.
Now this is what we have from the 2/3 of the unserious Republicans who sat home:
78% Afraid Dems Will Harm US by Abandoning Iraq
Fox News | 11/13/06 Posted on 11/13/2006 9:15:05 AM EST by pabianice
Also, 69% believe Dems are swinging too far left already. Just shown on Fox. Newsweek/WoPo poll (I believe). How the !@#$%^&* can this be reconciled with last week's election?
Comment #2 Where were these dolts a week ago?!!!!
A new angle on the lend-lease program.
Maybe we will get lucky, and the Syrians will kidnap them.
HA LOL
That would be better than winning the Powerball!
?Cut a deal with Iran & Syria?
Baker commission is suggesting it.
I occurs to me every day.
Which red state did you have in mind ct l.
I felt the same way about moving to a Red State. My husband advised that I would never make it down South. ( I don't know what he means) :)

Willing to bet that is a minority postion and not really a recommendation.
Makes you sick, doesn't it? It brings back that frustration from the state boards. I guess our marching instructions to our surviving pubbie reps is "obstruct, obstruct, obstruct." BTW, let's see how long the RATs wait before invoking the nuclear option in the Senate after the first republican filibuster threat. Is picosecond still available in the pool?
See post #89.
Neat, I am proud of how SC voted also!
looks to me like country is turing PURPLE!
We could end up with a "Ransom For Red Chief" situation.
