The 7-year-old son of an immigration activist who took refuge in a church to avoid being deported is heading to Mexico on Sunday to seek the support of national legislators.
Saul Arellano, who is an American citizen, is scheduled to meet with members of the Mexican House of Representatives and the Mexican Senate on Tuesday in an effort to get a resolution supporting Elvira Arellano's bid to stay in the United States.

"Yeah, our country sucks that bad"?

During my tenure in the US Army,I was issued three different social security numbers.I had none when I went in at 17.At the time,it really was no big deal, but over the years it has turned into a nightmare. My credit report has a suspicion of fraud tag on it.Fortunately,I kept much of my military paperwork. If I hadn't,I would more than likely be in jail.

Hard to understand why the US would worry about a Mexican resolution to allow her to stay in the US. They have no authority here.
The democrats and their buddies will assure that every other country in the world will have authority here.

I enlisted at age barely 18 and the recruiter told me not to bother to register for the draft because I was going active duty. After serving for 4 years I got out. About 2 months later I received my draft notice because I had never registered.
It took a while to straighten that mess out.

I can imagine! When you deal with Govt.bureaucracy, you are at an extreme disadvantage. Not counting having to spend time and money[of which I am sure you were short of],It is also a very demeaning process.I at first requestioned my military records, but with the clearance I had,a person could hardly make heads or tails of it!The black marker was used so much,It made me wonder who I really was!!As I said,I kept many records which I had to dig up,basically to prove I was me!Applying for anything is a chore.I had to black out some of my own paperwork,as it included names and ssn numbers, which to Govt.workers, became instantly suspect.Oh,and do not expect the Govt.VA for help. They know less than you do![Supposedly]I bet there are a lot of service members with the same problem.

Ah, but we mere US citizens are not as important as the citizens of Mexico... Not to "our" elected officials, at least.

I thought Liberals always said that separation between church and state was in the Constitution. Since they really believe this, why aren't they picketing the church?
