Google, which frequently celebrates minor holidays like Halloween with special changes to their trademark, today ignored Veteran's Day. They have noted Halloween, Google's 8th Anniversary, Persian New Year, Martin Luther King Day & the World Cup, among other holidays this year. Veteran's Day is meaningless to them.
Going out on a familiar limb here - I noticed Google's ideology years ago when they would actually answer my e-mails.
They gave their reasons for non-Americanism as trying to stay within comfortable parameters of being an international corporation - not to offend.
So "offending Americans" is ok?
They have the upper hand - I have tried to quit Google and they are worse than what I hear about some addictive drugs - and I find they are dangerous to this nation - in that they work very hard to divide us.
United is part of this great nation's name - and until we are all rowing in the same direction - we will defeat ourselves - no other nation need be involved.
I have no solution - but please someone - find one soon.
I believe we need to have some laws for protection of our country's image within corporate entities in this country or they can take their staff elsewhere to do their anti-American activities.
I would like to see FR start an anti-Google section here so we can contribute all false information indicated by their searches and indoctrination of what they believe to be fact for the people using their services. They have become far too dangerous to be ignored. Holiday graphics are the tip of an ugly iceberg.
Sorry to spoil this Sunday morning.
I'm not particularly surprised - Google is a pretty liberal company. I use other search engines.
