The HOT Chapter of FreeRepublic invites you to join us on Saturday, December 2nd at 3:30 p.m. for a social get-together.
We will meet at the Mesa Rosa restaurant off of F.M. 620 in North North Austin/Round Rock.The phone number for Mesa Rosa is 733-6622. The address is 15515 N. F.M. 620. It is halfway between 183 and I-35. Look for the big parrot sign on the south side of the road.
If you want you can try out one of the new toll roads on your way, while they are still "free". SH45 exits just West of the restaurant on F.M. 620.

I would be delighted to be in the company of ya'll. Something to look forward to. Thanks for taking the time to coordinate it. It will be refreshing to be around others who actually think for themselves.

Hope to be there, but it depends on if I have to travel north to Sherman help my wife who injured her leg a few weeks ago. (I'm up here now in fact. Doing laundry. :) )
We'll both be in Austin, just south of Round Rock off Mo-Pac, for Thanksgiving though.

I sent a notice out to the freeper list. However, I'm so sad that I can't make it as I'll be in California. :-(
This seems to be a good restaurant.
Also, I was on the new toll road Saturday coming home from the A&M game. We came south on Toll Hwy 130 then turned on Toll Hwy 45, then got on Mopac #1 which also was a toll at the north end. They are very nice roads. Try them while they're free. Maybe all major roads should be toll if we eliminate the gas tax. We pay for what we use. Not a bad idea.

What ever happened to the South East Fl. chapter? Went to a restaurant meeting about 5 or 6 years ago. Had a good time, but the chapter seems to have disappeared.
