Will read it; collect my thoughts and let you know.
Am somewhat convined that some ET race(s) leave interesting critters around to . . . keep us guessing, cause trouble, for whatever mysterious reasons . . . Some have been seen leaving interesting critters on the planet . . . other interesting critters have been seen persistently in the company of ET's.
If the enemy wants to create chaos and fear . . . would certainly be a useful way. Chupacabras in Mexico to wit.

I suppose Janet Reno is not the best explanation . . . her mouth might be as big but not her feet.
Hard to say. Plausible, I suppose. AS are other explanations. But I tend to believe the guy. I doubt he'd throw away something as useful as a ramp without significant cause.
