FREEPERS, it is time for PAYBACK! The ULTIMATE RINO must suffer the consequences of Tuesday!
vanity | November 10, 2006 | YDR

Posted on 11/10/2006 5:22:19 PM PST by You Dirty Rats

Since Tuesday almost all of us have been saddened and angered because we lost Congress to the 'Rats.

Why?

How did our united, magnificent victory in 2004 end up achieving so little and lead us to defeat in 2006?

There are many reasons, but tonight I focus on ONE.

IMHO the term "RINO" is overused. While looking at an ACU rating list I noticed only one Republican Senator with a score below 50 and below any 'Rat Senator - Chafee. I felt he was the only Senate RINO.

But there is another -- far, far worse. He had a lifetime rating of 80 -- yet he is the ULTIMATE RINO!!

Freepers, many of us have been upset the past two years. For some, it was Terry Schiavo. For others it was when Voinovich stabbed Bolton in the back late. For others it was the border issue.

But for me, and I suspect many others, there was another moment that ended our 2004 victory and began our 2006 defeat.

We all don't think alike and in 2004 we worked hard to re-elect GWB for different reasons. One reason I believe at least 95% of Freepers share -- JUDICIAL NOMINATIONS!!!

And here -- The President kept his word. His nominations, on current evidence, are better than any other President. Yes, he goofed on Miers -- but he corrected that error and it all worked out.

For YEARS, ever since Bork and Thomas were humiliated, we Conservatives waited and worked for victory. We reached 55 Senators and had the "nucular option" ready. We were all set to blow the 'Rats judicial obstruction to hell. I, like many Freepers, was on the Live Thread waiting for the moment when the 'Rats had to step aside or be blown to hell. Victory was at hand ...

... and then that grandstanding jackass whose bitterness at losing in 2000 ate away at him decided it was time to rain on our parade and form the infamous Gang of 14.

Freepers, isn't THAT the moment in the past two years when we threw away our victory? Isn't THAT when Republican turned against Republican and our unity died? Isn't that moment when our fate this Tuesday was sealed?

And WHO LED THIS???

MCCAIN!!!!

MCCAIN is the ULTIMATE RINO -- not because of his voting record, but because he stabbed the President, Bill Frist and all of us in the back!! It was horrible that the President and Frist caught flak from some conservatives on this when they were victims of McCain's Mutiny!!

AND NOW THAT DIRTY BACKSTABBING RINO WANTS TO BE THE REPUBLICAN NOMINEE IN 2008? HE DOESN'T HAVE THE DECENCY TO WAIT A FEW WEEKS AFTER TUESDAY??

Freepers, I urge all of you -- DO NOT SUPPORT THIS STINKING RINO!! He has wrecked our Party and should be shunned, not supported for President!!

The way I feel today, I might actually stay home if McCain faces Hillary -- because I can't support a candidate of our Party who turned on our Party like that.

MCCAIN, YOU DIRTY RAT!! YOU WILL NEVER GET OUR PARTY'S NOMINATION! DON'T GO AWAY MAD ... JUST GO AWAY!!!

He needs a lot more visibility. The next 2 years is his opportunity to showcase his talents under almost ideal conditions.

The ball is in his court, if he wants to play the game.

CA....

Since when is George Soros the determining factor? Yes, I know he HAS BEEN but, Jesus H. Christ, can't we as citizens kick this SOB out of our electorial process? Folks, if we can't get rid of him and his ilk, this country is toast. We may as well give up holding elections and send all that $ to the po'r.

McCain will work very well with a Democrat Congress. I don't want a president who works well with Democrats.

Question please

As it was in Texas

We had 4 Candidates on the ballot for Governor and 2 write ins.

6 and if I voted NO for one. Didn't I waste my possible vote on another or did I just waste 20% on each loser.

We need to find a candidate who can stand tall and who we can vote for instead of splitting our votes against the loser.

Well, I guess I misunderstood your original post/comment? Or are you, like me, feeling a bit stressed 'today' from the week's activities?

"The way I feel today, I might actually stay home if McCain faces Hillary -- because I can't support a candidate of our Party who turned on our Party like that."

The point is, not voting for and supporting the Rep Party is only making things WORSE for you, me and the rest of the country. And that's a FACT!

On a lighter note, let's try to get someone GOOD to run in '08. I'd love it if John Ensign would run for President. I'm sure there are others that would be good choices, as well. That way, no conservative will 'feel' like they have to aid and abet the leftist DemRats, eh?

___

I've never abstained and I never expect to.

McCain is simply not fit for the Oval Office.

Of course, neither is Hillary.

How about Rove? J/K

I believe that most unprincipled politicians will never realize success with honest Americans.

The Democrats are committed to their agenda, and the Republicans have been busy trying to master their understanding of the polls.

That is the problem for Republicans, those (largely) who were thrown out had no true moral compass. Good riddance.

I'm glad (mostly) that they are gone.

Democrats don't have such problems to contend with. They have no moral compass whatsoever.

McCain is facing a greater challenge than anything political - his own mortality. Even though he's declaring his candidacy for President he knows he is gravely ill and just wants to go down fighting. Anyone who compares his state of health to just 1 year ago can see his is markedly declining.

I agree. McCain's health is an issue. Which then brings the question, who would be the VP?

I say this as a SC Republican and a two time voter for Sanford:

He may not be what we want. Voted "worst governor" [even by a Leftist rag] isn't good baggage. He has cut pork but has done little to resonate or convey the message even here in the state. For instance, his cuts in education were badly presented and allowed opponents a big stick to beat him. He is unpolished and did poorly in the debates with a 20 year loser Dem like Tommy Moore.

All I'm saying is, that he is conservative but needs to get his game on NOW in order to be ready for the Hildebeest or he's going to be eaten alive. If he has the same "entitled to govern" attitude that seemed to afflict the GOP this season, he's toast.

I'd refute most of your arguements, but they aren't well thought out enough to bother.

The pig is a filthy animal.

I don't eat dog either.

Hillary or McCain?....

I'll root for injuries and pray that Tuesday Night Football comes around. I'll be outta the process if it comes to that choice.

Not that my votes matters much here in the greater Boston area.

I called McLame today. He had a bunch of demonstrators outside his office yesterday complaining about a failed proposition that keeps illegals from getting in-state tuition here.

Of course, he immediately folds and says he is going to introduce legislation to give them what they want.

Needless to say, I gave him a piece of my mind this morning. I don't recall him accommodating his LEGAL constituents that quickly in the 10 years I've been here.

Really don't think McNut will get past the nomination, so we have no worry. He will just make a fool of himself.
