If Phil Gramm were McCain's advisor IO would feel a lot better about McCain. He was a good conservative.

I an officially on the new anti-McCain bandwagon; however, I never really got off the one from 2000! Do we use the same name for his supporters or do we get a new one? :)

Any mention of the fact that Graham's wife was an Enron auditor?

I was (and am) a big Gramm fan.

Phil Gramm was one of my favorite politicos. That statement makes me a Gramm admirer.

It appears McCain was planning to run against the big spending Republican congress.

Which would have been a good position; now gone.

If McCain starts talking about Dickie Flatt, I'm quitting the GOP.

McCain is emerging as a top GOP presidential contender.

Really? And who made that determination?

If McCain is picked for the top spot, we might as well go for broke and team him up with Lindsey Gramm?

Gramm is the main boy who cut final rules on the Clinton impeachment for the Republicans, and hung some courageous house members out to dry in the process.

I'm conflicted. I love Phil Graham but I can't stand MeCain.

Will never happen. Even if McCain somehow made it out of the primaries (which won't happen), the Dems will simply run the Daisy ad again, with the same results.
