Anyone remember seeing any TV ads for Tom McClintock? Anyone see any ads for the Republicans running for AG, Insurance Commissioner, anything?

All I ever saw were Schwarzenegger ads in radio, TV, and print. Period. No support at all from the CA GOP for anyone else. None.

I saw and heard plenty of McClintock ads. Not nearly as many as Garamendi. The CAGOP really dropped the ball with McClintock.

No excuse for all the Republicans who didn't show up, though. Probably could have pushed McClintock over the top.

I never saw any ads for McClintock through any elections, and we lived in CA until 2 months ago. I thought he was a great candidate when I read up on him myself.

If he wants to win (and be taken seriously??), he needs to get out of the state. GOP in CA is a joke: you are a moderate and/or willing to concede on party issues, or you receive no support from the party.

Playing cudda, shudda, wudda is a terribly depressing game. Nevertheless, it would have been nice if Arnold had lent even a little support to down-ticket candidates.

how much were the leaders paid?

how much went to consultants.

seems that the GOP leaders had bigger coffers which were used to pay themselves.

I saw NOTHING in FL.

The CAGOP was All-Arnold, All-The-Time. With "oh, by the way, vote for the other Republicans too" as an afterthought. Or worse.

The California Republican Assembly did everything possible to get Conservatives into office.

Arnold did everything possible to keep himself in office, at the expense of grabbing all face time he could have helped bring in on his very large coattails, had he so deigned.

Just watch for when Ted Kennedy starts beating the drum again to amend the Constitution to allow foreign-born persons to be president. Arnold is a megalomaniac.

I saw lots of Arnold and Angelides ads.

I saw several Garamendi ads but never saw a single McClintock ad.

I saw a couple Poochigian ads and many, many Jerry Brown ads.

I saw TONS of Poizner ads. (He was reported to have an $11 million dollar ad buy, running against the hapless Bustamante no less--never saw an ad for Cruz).

The last week, I saw a couple Chiang and Strickland ads (I think those were the ones funded by the warring Tribes who set up IEs)
