Rush Limbaugh Live Thread Thursday Nov 9, 2006

Let me see if I get this last propaganda spin lie fed to the Junk Media by the Democrats right. After the worst sort of slime bag gutter politics and demagoguery for the last 6 years suddenly we are all suppose to play nice since the Dems finally managed to lie their way back into power?

I do not think so.

They think they run things but believe or not, President Bush has a veto pen and we still have more then 40 Conservative Senators to filibuster with.

They need to get along with us. WE can stop anything they want. Let us see if Democrats are stupid enough to forget that fact

We lost a battle, the war goes on.

Lot easier to veto the other guys spending then it is to veto your guys spending. Past is irrelevant. This is a whole new world.

I remember feeling like that after 1992's elections, but in the end it wasn't that bad, we still have the executive branch (Clinton did a lot with executive orders), and the margins aren't that large so there WILL be compromises with the republicans.

We need to get our conservative MESSAGE out. We need right now to start educating the nation, the people, about amnesty, so we can stir up a grass-root effort to scare the politicians to vote against it, or to at least make it better, like we did with health care.

If we oppose amnesty because it is bad for America, let's convince everybody that we are right about that, rather than worry about a party being right or wrong. It's AMERICA now, not defending republicans. The election is over, but the task lies before us.

Its a lock for McCain. He protected his right enough.

I am not a huge McCain fan, but I don't get the idea that he is dead in the water. He is the only one standing right now with a real shot.

Thank you, Rush...Newt is one heck of a conservative...Sure, he has baggage, but if they don't have any, they'll invent some. I don't like Romney, (way too RINO), I really DO NOT want McCain....

Rick Santorum was a real loss. A good man. PA are fools for electing that empty suit Casey.

Not only the sheeple, but the dems who were in D.C. that day and had to run for their lives seem to be in denial.

Too bad so many republicans forgot that day too.

They're getting crazier, cuz Bush is still there. Check out this e-mail from a Liberal friend of mine:

Let me keep it simple, WAR, WAR and Corruption with power gone unchecked.

How fast we change our outlook of voters, from intelligent preceptive people to dumb ignorant hicks from the sticks! LOL It isn't the voters, it's the people in office who have failed.

If Bush thinks removing Rumsfeld will remove his own guilt, he has made another huge mistake. Plus he continues to lie to the public, with out any hint of guilt! The man doesn't even know how to speak the truth! Bush lies and boys die, and die and die!

Trent Lott, that senate loser is running for Minority whip.
Will Rush carry water for Trent Lotts persuit of another leadership position?
Or will he suggest new blood for the GOP?

Only time will tell

NO, the Republicans were not letting the Bush Taxcuts expire. There was no need to take it up until the 2007 session.

It was a mistake of overconfidence, tactics and timing not a betrayal of principals. They simply assumed they would always be in control

I don't get the depression. The Dems had to go RIGHT to win, the GOP needed a wake up call. Glenn Beck made the point that most of the amendment issues went RIGHT. RINOS lost and Santorum, Allen and Burns had some self inflicted wounds.

Iraq sped up the "big tent falls apart" theory.

But Pelosi, Schumer et al...does ANYONE believe they can keep their liberal realities in their pocket for 2 whole years?

The leadership emerging out of the ashes seems to realize that going back to Reagan/Small Gvt is the way to go.

Senate and House are within reach for 2008.

This might actually turn out to be preferable to holding power by 5 votes in the House and 2 in the Senate.....

Its very possible. 2 years is a long time in this climate.
