Well, for all you Repubs who wanted to send a message to the Repub party by voting 3rd party or not al all...here it comes-amnesty for illegals. The house was the only things standing in the way of Amesty legislation. Now you can bet the program will be in effect by next year.

The Republican Party can either stand for something or nothing. If they wish to survive, perhaps it's time for the Republicans to philibuster their own President. If they look carefully, they will see he isn't running for anything any more.

President Bush yesterday said he will team up with Democrats to pass an immigration bill with a guest-worker program that his own party blocked this year, I hesitate to suggest this, but since GW doesn't appear to care about rebuilding his own party, it may be time for Republicans in Congress to break with this President.
Now is the time to get out of a bed with Democrats, not get more cozy.
To: NapkinUser
So they are going to push through this amnesty, and give these criminals a road to citizenship, while people who have applied to immigrate here legally wait in line overseas 10 to 30 years. Something is downright immoral with their action.

Bush eyes Democrats for help on amnesty Maybe impeachment is not such a bad idea after all.

Just told my wife and oldest son that this is the beginning of the end as the illegal immigration will now explode onto the scene. The Democrats will make sure they allow their political base into the nation as fast as possible to see that they never leave power again. The nation is finished.

President Bush yesterday said he will team up with Democrats to pass an immigration bill with a guest-worker program that his own party blocked this year, and his Republican opponents predicted a bloody intraparty fight but said they cannot stop such a bill from passing. Just told my wife and oldest son that this is the beginning of the end as the illegal immigration will now explode onto the scene. The Democrats will make sure they allow their political base into the nation as fast as possible to see that they never leave power again. The nation is finished.

Perhaps some pre-emptive impeachment proceding against Bush for not abiding by his oath of office is called for.

I'm done with President Bush. His first job as President is to follow the Constitutional requirements as laid out by our Founding Fathers. His personal beliefs regarding illegal aliens is not the question. The question is, "as President does he, or does he not, follow the Rule of Law as laid out in our Constitution". The answer is no, and anyone who can't see this has their head up a very dark place.

It's being reported that the Pubs lost the Hiapanic vote this time because of the illegal immigration issue. Our local Mexican activist here in Phoenix (Elias Bermudez) was on the news last night whinning and crying about how unfair and disrespectful the "wall" is to the Mexican immigrants (he did not use the word "illegal"). So, I guess the will of the legal majority will be superceded by what is politically correct. I, for one, will never cast a vote for any politician who supports shamnesty.

I hope those guest workers hang around the Crawford ranch. If there's any consolation it is that this scamnesty of Bush's gets passed under a democratic congress.
