INDIANAPOLIS -- All of the votes cast in Marion County still had not been counted as of early Wednesday afternoon because some voting machines had not been turned in to election headquarters.

The county's Democratic Party attacked County Clerk Doris Anne Sadler for what they called her mismanagement of Tuesday's election, 6News' Derrik Thomas reported.

Democrat Chairman Ed Treacy compared the county's election troubles with what used to happen in Soviet bloc countries.

Sixty-six regular voting machines were not returned to election headquarters as of noon Wednesday, and none of the electronic voting machines was returned, Thomas reported.

The outcome of the state House District 97 race and three township races hinged on the missing election data.

Monroe County, Bloomington Indiana. Only part of that community is in the 9th district. The line is drawn right through town.

We've had Vote-Buying, Voter Intimidation, and now missing machines in Indy, and a Dem Vote Counter caught RED-HANDED with Absentee Ballots, and Copied Storage keys to ballots in Sodrel's District.

So that's why they called in the FBI on election night. I wondered what was gong on there. My first thought was ACORN.

We need voter ID cards. One vote per legal voter. Period.

It finds people in your county, in the state, where they are registered and what precinct they are assigned to vote. My understanding that in the future it may also be connected with the office that issues death certificates...... Technology can be wonderful. It may be the secret to cutting out most of the fraud in future election.

Sounds pretty good. I'm amazed that this kind of stuff isn't pretty universal. Databases aren't rocket science.

Paging the FBI! The FBI was supposed to be looking out for voting fraud.

Actually, paging the local DA would do.

Eric Dickerson is one heck of a guy, by the way. Marine pilot, successful businessman. He is the kind of person who should be in Congress.

What was really irritating is they were spreading false information and taking over.....The exact technique that the Liberals use when they have debates on TV. They even had the NERVE to challenge folks who were from IN and knew the truth......My hoosier granny used to use the word ignoramus for similar people.

"Can we please avoid acting like the tin-foil hatters at DU who claim voter fraud at every close election that doesn't go their way?"

Actually, this is what was reported on a local newscast. I'm not interested in paranoid conspiracy theories, but I am interested in one race where there may be actual vote tampering.

DUmocrats cannot win without fraud.

In NY, thousands of dead voters were found in the registered voter files. Some dead since 1953. They voted in 2004. They voted democrat.

OK, thanks. But why is CNN saying that only 83% of precincts have reported in the IN-07? No other IN district has less than 97% of precincts reporting.

BTW, around 10,000 fewer votes have been tabulated for IN-07 than were tabulated in the last mid-term election, 2002, even though every other IN district cast more votes in 2006 than in 2002 (in some cases substantially more votes). So there must be quite a few votes still uncounted---perhaps over 30,000.

From Sir Hailstone on the IN thread.

A RAT poll worker was caught with an unauthorized key to a secured location where absentee ballots were kept, and was in possession of absentee ballots, in a possible attempt to alter or destroy them. FBI denies investigating, but State Police, the AG and SoS are looking into it.

There is no voter fraud, do you know that. Only happens if Repubs win. Notices how the MSM was already screaming about voter fraud... but suddenly, whent he libs won... is very quiet and no more news on voter fraud.

Yep. It's eerily quiet. Even Schumer was raving about how successful the election was this time. Right before the election, he was sweating lie a stuffed pig. My guess he was worried the Feds would find the ACORN ballots in almost every state. I hope they're still looking for them. The election isn't officially over until the 27th.

The minute a demorat is ahead in the election,, the counting stops!

If they are behind after the election, the demorats scream corruption!

Since they allege to be the winners, notice there are NO claims of corruption!

Check with Sir Hailstone, he worked in the 7th
district and is part of the backbone of Eric's campaign.

I believe he may be at work now, but he will know the facts and not just the rumors/speculation.

Ah but it is over because the dems won. There will be investegation at all. Dems control both houses and all will be hushed up. Only to come out if Repubs actually gain control but by that time they have two years to make sure that the touch screens and thier Dems alliances in states can come up with a way to rig the machines.

Wow. "Repository" in the FR search engine has a lot of election information listed in it. Cool.

We seriously need voter ID's.

If the Inspector, 2 judges, 2 clerks (all five) did not follow precedures they are in BIG trouble. 66 X 5 people would have to be involved at the highest and at the lowest 66 X 2 (The Inspector and the Judge of the opposite party) OTOH If something is going on, it may have occurred at the Clerk's Office. Hailstorm will know details!
