"They know they are in an existential war of conquest and we think it is a persuasion problem."
Well said.
When you will not name the enemy for fear of offending them, you have lost. When you constantly praise your enemy's ideology, you have lost. When you try to buy them or win the "hearts and minds" of people who believe they are superior and everything is the will of Allah - including your "generosity" they view as tribute, you have lost ( I could point to the video of the hijacker wanting to kill us for helping Muslims in Kosovo... it wasn't US that helped them, you see. It was the "will of Allah".)
Point to one Western leader willing to name the enemy.
Perhaps Howard in Australia. Maybe. Someday. He's the closest.
Western Civilization has collectively lost the will to live. This time, it may not recover. The world's too small. It's going to be an interesting time, quoting the old proverb.
Damn them all. Every last political operator. Every last fool in our parliaments and congresses. Every last diplomat looking for his retirement job from the Saudis. Every last "learned man" on the faculty preaching hate for all things Western.... Damn them all to hell.

Something else burns me up the more I think about it. There is no way I would ever invite Muslims to celebrate Ramadan or any other Muslim occasion in my house.
As a childhood I was taught the White House is where the president lives, but it was America's House. I am outraged President Bush has initiated annual Ramadan celebrations in the tiny bit that is my White House, and know damn well I speak for all my ancestors before me.
