Poland "misled" into joining Iraq war
2006-11-08, 15:58
Warsaw decided to take part in the war with Iraq on grounds of untrue information which it received from the US administration - former President of Poland Aleksander Kwasniewski has told a German daily. In an interview for "Der Tagesspiegel" Mr. Kwasniewski said that he heard about Iraq's mass destruction weapons from then US State Secretary Colin Powell himself. He added that now he would treat information supplied by intelligence "with more caution".
In his interview for the daily, the former Polish president also appealed to the German government for more activity in European politics - and not to make important decisions "over the heads" of Poles as in the case of the gas pipeline with Russia.
Calm down guys. Kwasniewski is post-commie media attention whore who'd do anything to get noticed. And he's out of power now. Need I say more?
Hope there isn't a jam-up on the way to the lifeboats.
"Looks, like he's going to apply for some EU, or UN post."
Exactly.
"What a pathetic SOB Kwasiewski is.
Looks, like he's going to apply fo rome EU, or UN post"
Whore.
only problem is, in some ways people are like cattle. the herd is dissipating with some following a new "leader". the fractures were in place.
half were installed by the rats with the ewe lied to america, there were no WMD
now watch it crumble
It doesn't matter what is really true, as this man's story will change with the circumstances, just like the Democrats. They will say either they knew it all along, or were misled, regardless of what they really said at the time. If America or Europe is attacked with WMDs, they will blame Bush for failing to find them.
Yep, and has always been.
We've got two years of this crap to deal with.
