Sadly, graceful is an unappreciated art in modern day American politics.
Bring Rush back!! I have heard enough of these dumbos attacking my president.
People here seem to think the Democrats have this 200 vote majority in the House. They don't. They're not going to be able to run hard left on every issue because they know it would put too many of the seats at risk in 2008.
I bet Ronald Reagan wasn't moaning in 1986 when the Republicans took a beating in the mid-term elections.
Rush said it's going to get worse before it gets better. He is beyond a doubt correct. Remember Reich, Sec'y of something under Clinton. It's going to be at least two years of Reichism. X100
Saying polite things about Polosi and friends.
AMEN! I'm with you there.
I DO know. When I lived in Illinois and Texas I had aspirations of going into politics. I was disabused of that notion by folks who basically told me if I wasn't rich, I needed to do what they said to even be considered. And I don't work well that way...so I'd rather help than run...both parties do it. But if we want what we believe, we still have to work. I know how you feel...I agree with Rush, and I both LOVE Bush and I hate what he's saying right now because I want to kick Pelosi and Reid in the teeth. But that's how this country is governed..
Speaking of dumbos, has Helen Thomas been up yet?
Nah, locked in a cube.
Wow! That slight on Rove was harsh!
I wonder if he knew how it was going to come out.
"I wish that people would calm down. Lots of gloom and doom. I understand why Rumsfeld is leaving, and it isn't "caving." People are now turning on Bush, like all of this is his fault.
I am ashamed to see so many people who do not understand the concept of loyalty."
Or understand the concept that Bush is right and has been right about the war the whole time. I applaud him for sticking to what he believes because I think he is 100% right.
But wait, he said all this wasn't that bad at the openning of the show!
True. But these days and times are far from "typical". The enemy is literally breathing down our necks and we should comfort ourselves with politics-as-usual?
I don't think I'm an ostrich or an alarmists, I think we are in deep doo if somebody in Washington does not stop the PC and begin the unapologetic eradication of islam extremists and any other islamist that stand in the way
I think the thwarting of world domination takes 24 hours.
o gag...no. but they finally cut away!! back to rush finally!
Listening to Bush answer the question about last week that Rumsfield was staying to the end. made me think HE knew the republicans were going to lose he just hadnt finished talking with Gates and Rumsfield to finalize it.
"The whole election cycle was about impeachment - that it is, just payback for what was done to Bill Clinton."
Welcome to the era of Impeachment Tag. You impeached us so we're going to impeach you. Of course impeachment doesn't mean a thing anymore when the senate won't convict. Just a blippin asterisk on your legacy, and you can still be the 'greatest president.' (sarc. Clintoon)
I see the day when after a president gets elected his own party will immediately impeach him just to get it out of the way, remove that threat from the opposition party, and then go on about its business.
Turning on the President is what got us here Miss Marple.
Now he will be pilloried because so many "true conservatives" will need someone to blame besides themselves for this debacle...
Loyalty is a bad word around here.
What's he supposed to do, call her what we call her?
