Not to pile on, but...the President doesn't sound that great in his pc. He reminds me of Clinton the day after in 94. Only then, I was gloating.

Economy is strong, the U.S. is leading the world (even if it won't follow), and my life is not dictated by political trend lines.

Look for a run from Mitt from the MA.

Stanz, I don't know if you can see this Bush press conference on TV right now. It is NOT going well. Bush needs to stop this thing NOW... it's bizarre.

I did the same thing. It's hard for me to believe that a majority of Americans support the party of Al Sharpton, Barney Frank, John Kerry, etc. Do most Americans now want gay marriage and abortion-on-demand? Do most Americans really want tax increases? I feel totally confused today.

I think it's sad that Bush is making no attempt to improve the morale of his supporters.
He can be very blind.

I agree we are finished if this happens the terrorist are coming for us. Bush needs a General on the ground who will order our Soldiers to KILL THE ENEMY! The terrorists WILL come after us.
Bush needs to quit trying to get along with liberals and get behind closed doors, and ORDER a Quick, Bloody Victory in iraq.

Senate will not confirm Bob Gates. They will use those hearings to slam Rummy and Bush. Watch it happen.Nope. The Republican leadership will ramrod the nomination through the lame-duck session. In fact, I suspect it will be the only important thing they do in that session; otherwise, they'll do what they've done for the last two years, which is leave the tough issues for someone else to deal with later.

I listened to Greg Garrison's show in Indianapolis. Chris Horner of the CEI was on and he seemed to think Pelosi will be held back by the fear of messing up the 2008 elections (as in Hillary will tell her to keep her mouth shut). In my opinion this will depend on how beholden all of these people are to Soros.
I wish that people would calm down. Lots of gloom and doom. I understand why Rumsfeld is leaving, and it isn't "caving." People are now turning on Bush, like all of this is his fault.
I am ashamed to see so many people who do not understand the concept of loyalty.

This is just what happens in our political system. It's typical for a 6th year election. We will be back.
Too many people are losing sight of this. The pendulum always swings, this time to the Dems. We could have done many things different to stave it off for another election cycle, but it was INEVITABLE!

Not to pile on, but...the President doesn't sound that great in his pc.Yes, he should end it. I'm sure he's in shock, and since public speaking isn't his strong suit, he should stop trying to reach out to the press, most of whom hate him and would be ecstatic if he dropped dead.
