The Democrats are the only party to have a MUSLIM, and a (former) GRAND DRAGON OF THE KLU KLUX KLAN.
Yet blacks and Jews continue to flock to that party as if their life depended on it.
Frist has no future, if he can't lead the Senate, he certainly can't lead the country.
He's a typical surgeon. He knows all and has always been the smartest kid in the class and we should all just naturally be aware of that. /s
We need a leader of the conservative movement, not a party leader. As much as I love GWB as a person, he is not a conservative.

I think I basically agree. I don't condemn conservatives worried about gay marriage, abortion, stem cells, etc.
But I don't understand why the GOP thinks these wedge issues are truly so important that they should be a central focus in elections. The evangelical vote is not as fickle as they are afraid. Reagan, for example, was perfectly able to stand as a moral leader without actually pushing these types of issues too hard.
Focus on taxes, spending, and intelligent entitlement reform, and the GOP can still thrive.

Ignoring reality is not a smart strategery in politics. It leads to voters kicking you out of office.

I'm curious as to your answer on this.
I know I was not asked, and I I feel there was nothing wrong with liberating iraq or shameful. But iraq is liberated, they have a new government, sadamn will hang (maybe).
What is shameful is our soldiers being brought up on murder charges, shameful is that falluja was not blasted off the face of this earth (including civilians) after their treatment of our soldiers.
If we can not KILL the enemy in iraq, if all we can do is be PC, build their schools, heal their sick, but God forbid KILL terrorists without facing murder charges - That is SHAMEFUL.
