If President Bush DID give on anything relating to the Global WOT I would be the first to give up on him. But he's not...First and foremost is National Security...I agree. We're blessed to have had this particular president during this past 6 years. He's in for a tough two years now.

I need help. I can't seem to get past step 1.
To: Fury
Yes. I know, but he is the leader of talk radio who has made some mistakes in his life. I never insinuated that he was the President. Nice try. Read it again.

Hey Fuddy....it just makes the Prsident look weak and emboldens the dims. A little spine from all republicans is what's needed right now.

"I would say that Rummy is refusing to work for a country that has gone left, let alone be ridiculed by them day after day for the next two years. This is his big f-you."
Like Rush says, this is only going to wet the moonbats appetite for more. Expect calls for war crime investigations against Rumsfeldt to start rolling. Bush is dead wrong in thinking he can work with the RATS. They are going to continue doing what they have been doing, now with more clout.
To: Last Laugh
We simply can not ignore exploring every reason about this loss, including any brought on through Bush policy, lack of policy, political correctness, etc.Totally agree as long as we are being constructive as opposed to self-destructive! Pres. Bush and the GOP have done a poor job at some things, especially in communication, but there are some here that seem ready to throw him under the bus.
To: auto power
Why on earth would they move to the center?
Now that they'll be in charge, shouldn't they should force every change on us they can, while they have the chance?
They better remember they are "true liberals" and vote in bigger taxes, more abortion, extremist judges and end the military occupation of Iraq.
Might as well throw open the borders, too!

If something big happens like another attack on American soil, the MSM won't be able to hide it.
Where have you been?? If there is another attack it is Bush's fault because he made the terrorists mad over Iraq, if it doesn't again it is Bush's fault for being a fear monger. It doesn't matter what Bush, or any pub (RINO or conservative) does -- it will be their fault.

Does anyone notice that this was the precise language "liberating" I used in post 1002.
I wonder if Rush was reading Freerepublic during the break.

Back a ways on this thread, another poster said not to confuse civility with weakness. I couldn't agree more with that.

Let's remember the most important thing of all--GOD is in control, everything happens according to HIS will, not the will of the dims or the repubs for that matter. I am not worried about our future because the Lord of Lords and King of Kings has our backs. That is enough for me anyday, no matter what!
