And I see it too much with boomers. Most boomers and older I know believe what they hear Katie, Brian and Charlie say.Yes, and when you try to present, with backing evidence, the real facts of a story or issue, there eyes just glaze over, or you get sheep-like mantras in reply.
Very frustrating. I've always been of the mind that the U.S. will just have to wear the narcissistic boomers like a millstone around our necks until they start keeling over in 15 year or so.

Exactly right. It challenges their trust... trust you or trust what they saw or read. They'd rather trust what they saw or read. It's simply how they grew up, when you COULD believe in those things and trust them.
