Uh huh, but if you look quickly and closely, many of those races have fewer than 50% precincts reporting, or the margin less than 3%.
Have they really forgotten FLORIDUH so quickly?
I have seen a LOT of races decided by less than 1,000 votes, it is way too early to be announcing this.

Expect to see a budget showdown about it. The power of the purse is a biggy. Might have to swollow chunks of socialist gunk in domestic spending to keep funding of the war alive.

We just re-elected a man who embezzled $100k worth of services from the state for his wife - and he's the damned fiscal watchdog. But he has a good heart.

and what do you think the democrats are going to do...? they will have the inability to rule effectively if republicans retain the senate, they will kill any border reform and start the process for amnesty which the president will most likely sign, muslims are slobbering all over themselves as we speak because of this win, and they will outspend republicans by a factor of 2, not to mention your tax cuts just evaporated into thin air... yeah, happy days are here again but not for america... america is the big loser in this election...
To: jern
Republicans in Washington got what they deserved. Unfortunately, America must now pay the price for that stupidity.
Arrogance cuts both ways. Republicans had no business losing these elections but for sorry campaigning.

Sleep Well America! Nancy Pelosi and Charlie Rangel have your back. Michael Medved said Rangel already has papers drawn up to give the slave reparation money to ancestors! Great, I think we'll go on unemployment, I'm not paying higher taxes for this crapolla!

Doubt it. They knew it was coming, and they nudged the record. You're wrong. Watch for the Dow Jones Industrials to be under 10,000 by the end of January 2007--and if the Democrats have their way, maybe under 7,000 by summer 2008. Millions of Americans will be p***ed and the Democrats will be out of power by January 2009.

Cheer up, FReepers. This might just be entertaining. It'll be like turning the preparation of supper over to your kids. You know they're going to screw it up, and you figure you'll have to clean up the mess yourself sooner or later. I mean......Charles Rangel in charge of Ways & Means???? good point

Pelosi was in yesterday's paper promising to reverse the tax cuts, all of them. I guess it was a campaign speech. Presumably that's what Americans want, since they put her party back in charge of the House.

If that happens it would be blamed on President Bush.
