What Republicans need to learn from tonight...

The most important thing that Republicans should learn from tonight is that America is a representative democracy.
This does NOT mean that your congress critter shares ALL your beliefs, or that he is a perfect human being, but rather that, in general, he votes the way you want him to.
It's like hiring a lawyer. You may despise his personal life and his principles, but what is important is that he WINS YOUR CASE.
Democraps could care less about the morals of their elected officials as long as they win.
Republicans could learn a lesson here...

Same thing I said about Katherine Harris. She may be an idiot and a terrible senator, but she would caucus the right way and she got my vote for that alone.

Although we would all like victory I'm going to have to take a pass on this line of thinking. Character and principles in my opinion are traits that make a leader worth following.

The leadership in the House ahd become moribund and mired in the Illinois-style politics which Dennis Hastert who, incidently is my Representative imposed on the House.

So far tonight, the best I can tell is that I am going to read days upon days of drivel from despondent voters..
Mod's, word to your mother; you got a hell of a job the coming days..

Joe Schwarz, and he paid for it in the primary. I'm still amazed the idiot announced a write in candidacy YESTERDAY. LOL

Oh boy, another vanity. I'm shocked, absolutely shocked. Must be the 100th vanity today.

Well, we'll know see if the Democraps vote MORE the way you want them to.

Let's start a thread titled "What Republican Leaders Need to Learn from Tonight..." I'll start:
When you run on conservative values, you win. Also - don't let the MSM frame the debate. Take on the premise of the objective journalist's questions on Sunday mornings.

I hope they learned to remember why we elected them in 1994.
Maybe we should send them all a copy of the Contract for America.

Thank you for correcting him on that!
