My chin is up. I am waiting for this tidal wave of Dems. Yes santorum and dewine losig suck. yet Santorum is in a heavily democratic state. Dewine although not a personal favorite was caught up in a year when Ohio is very anti republican

A steele and Allen win would make me feel pretty good right now.

And I just heard that Talent has a strong early lead over the communist he is running against.

Look at that - if you put the Green candidate's votes in Webb's column, he'd be winning.

Thank The Goddess for the Green Party LOL.

I had Econ 201 with Shuler back in '93 at UT. He sat next to me - complete idiot. At least it seemed that way from the few times he showed up.

Can't believe the people of NC are going to elect this guy.

Econ 201 is the perfect class to determine whether a person is an idiot, and it is probably why he is a democrat. Democrats don't understand economics.

Fox calls MD for Cardin although the count shows Steele with 55% to Cardin's 44% - sad if it turns out that way.....

Why does CNN claim Webb is leading????!!!

This can happen if Allen isn't doing as well as he should in R-friendly precincts...that is, if Dem precincts have yet to come in, then he might not have enough of a lead to hold off what's anticipated.

And we all know there's that "Okay, so how many Dem votes to we have to manufacture?" problem in the late-reporting urban precincts...

The only thing about the Collins-Marshall race, I haven't seen totals from Bibb County, which will probably go to Marshall (D). I am saying probably though. but it does look as burns will beat Barrow.

42% of precincts reporting
Burns, Jr. / Barrow

(R) 22,136 / (D)20,679

51.7% / 48.3%
