Still 5500 away...
Contrary to popular belief on this thread by some, the party actually returns to its roots (the right) after big defeats.
After the party went soft in 1992 and endured a stinging defeat, did it turn left or right? What happened in 1994?
After a bad defeat in 1976 did the party turn left or right in 1980?
Not according to BSF who lives in Montana.
Do you really think our chances have improved now to get more tax cuts???? As for spending, non defense discretionary spending has been pretty much flat since Pres. Bush took office...it's the entitlement spending that's gone nuts (aka soc. sec. & medicare), & it will continue to as more baby boomers hit retirement over the next couple of years. A democratic Congress doesn't exactly help spending either.
You eat with that mouth, right?
Burns has gained 7000 votes on Tester since the precincts jumped from 60% reporting to 75% reporting. If this trend holds, the Republicans hold the Senate.
I know. I saw that. I thought Brit had lost his mind. Then an hour or two later the WaPo or one of the big MSMs retracted the call for Cardin. Now Steele is saying there is a very large number of absentee ballots that haven't been counted.
Voting for the candidate of their choice. They wouldn't be voting for the Libertarian candidate if they were happy with the other two candidates.
It's the responsibility of the candidate and the party to attract the voters.
Speaking of William Jefferson, I wonder what the 'lovely' Congressman Alcee L. Hastings is going to have to do with this new bizarre political alignment.
You think with that mind, right? Or try to?
That's what I've heard! And I don't blame him. Somebody up there running the numbers has been smoking the wacky weed...
New Mexico 1: Wilson (R) up 1,150, just a few more precincts I'M calling it!!! This was one of Rham's targeted seats. Wilson was down in the polls by 8%.
Rove is incredibly overrated. Remember how he got the credit for exposing Rathergate, when it was really the freepers who did the legwork?
Registered Voters 466258 - Cards Cast 182254 39.09% | Num. Report Precinct 439 - Num. Reporting 288 65.60% |

Sounds amazing to say it, but whether we win the war on terror may now depend on a few Montana folks. No more survivalist jokes from me...
There will be no more national secrets... he'll make certain every one gets reported in the WaPo or SLimes.
I've read where he is hopelessly behind now, but I will await his concession or his victory speech.

7000 or more?
