Clintonista Machichine attack, of course. I wonder how many times their names came up in that data mining?

I am so saddened. I have a very inteeligent friend..30ish...he voted straight Dem. I just don't get it.I've been thinking of Spain all day and I honestly believed that when people were in the privacy of the voting booth they would give more thought to our military and the WOT.
Clearly, I was wrong.
This country is dumbing down on so many levels. Although there are numerous college-educated young "intelligent" types, so many of them seem very disconnected with reality and simply "don't get it". And then there are others (of all ages) who fully buy into the MSM hook, line and sinker, believing Iraq has nothing to do with the War on Terrorism, etc.
And the losers in all of this will be the security of our country and of course, the men and women of our military.

I guess ignorance is bliss. LOL! Your "headwind" theory is ignorance personified.
Enjoy Pelosi as Speaker.
Thanks for your efforts.

I thought the race had already been called for Hill?
Speaking from personal experience, there are a lot of very far left activists in B'ton that would not hesitate to stuff ballot boxes (at the very least).

precincts still to report have tilted Democrat from what I can tell I think Allen holds. While most of the ones left have indeed tilted Allen, there just are not enough votes left. Hoping...

Just read most of the replies..agree with most.
I live in Kalifornia...one of the most liberal states of all. IN our local rag the oped pages just rage against Bush and the GOP..It will be interesting to see how they feel when the unemployment rate goes back up, taxes go up..etc.
I am most upset with the GOP leadership...Hastert..where has he been? Nancy P has been out an vocal...I fault FRist, Lott etc for trying to deal with the libs like the libs will want to deal with terrorists...
Did you see the interview with that sap Reid??I want to be a uniter not a divider says he..I could puke.

Actually, if you look, it's those "real, true" conservatives who are being defeated. Why don't more people GET this? We laugh at the "far left" moonbats, btu we think that being "far right" is supposed to give us a big governing margin? What are people trying to do, turn the GOP into the Libertarian Nobody Party?

In Arizona, there were several illegal immigration initiatives on the ballot, and they are all passing handily.

No the Democrats destroyed the Republicans,They used the media. The Republicans again over estimated the intelligence of the American people. They sat silently and ever so politely by.What happened to Rove's brilliant plan? That is what really turned off this true conservative. Don't feel sorry for the loser pols. They will just leave with their hefty pensions & go lobby for Saudi Arabia or China.

I'd be the wrong person for that. Partly because I have no idea how, and partly because I'm not on FR much this time of year.
I've posted more tonight than I have in three months. I'd be happy to be on a ping list, but not run one. :-)

No apology about Oxley? I'm not allowed to curse, but HELL NO! SOX SUX! Ask anyone with a real employment-producing, economy-boosting job! The left couldn't have burned the U.S. economy any better than Sarbanes and Oxley did. Even the Enron scum from prison are singing SOX's praise. Go figure.

Well...Brett Baier is reporting that Bush is thinking that THIS Congress will be just about right to work with on COMPREHENSIVE immigration reform.
NOW..I am a big BUSH fan..and I knew when I voted for him that he is in favor of a guest worker program...so I can't blame HIM for this..
But, I just said earlier that the people that lost, are the ones that would have been more for just the fence right now...we will see, though.

Is Johnson of CT a "true conservative"? She lost.
Don't count her in that class. There is no Republican/Conservative party in Connecticut.
