Baron Hill (D)/ Mike Sodrel (R) District is traditional KKK democrat. Mike won by a fluke last time. He's a good guy.

There has been alot of talk here on how hard it was to vote for Shelly and people thought they had and then when they cast their ballots it didn't show up.

And in the end that b@st@#$D lampson started running ads saying she would raise taxes 23 percent. Of course he was talking about national sales tax. What lampson missed was the part that if the national sales tax passes we end up with no Federal withholdings. Anyway it was a very dirty trick and it was very very hard to write her in.

You posted my post back to me --- but seem to have ignored this part:

I'll tell you one thing --- it sure looks like the "true conservatives"

are losing in border states.

I really wish people would stop being so panicked. There remain some points of optimism in House races.

And, the slimmer the RAT majority in the House, the faster that Pelosi's caucus will unravel.

I'm as upset about the border as the next person, but not so upset that I was willing to turn power over to the democratic party. I did hear earlier this week that the Buchananites were not voting GOP.

I remember being afraid for the country when Clinton won in '92.

I was right.

I'm afraid for the country now, but I will not melt down or lash out. I will simply use everything at my disposal to prepare for the dangers ahead from within and without, and continue to try to wake this sleeping land up to the enemies that want to destroy us.

At the height of the Mexican protests, when polls showed something like 70% of Americans wanted tougher immigration laws, and Republicans weenied out, I swore I would not vote this year. well, I caved, held my nose, and voted. But a lot of conservatives didn't.

it is unclear why so many refuse to accept this.

I certainly did. And not because he's the best candidate, just because the Twin Cities lefties think it's so "cool" to put the first Muslim in congress.

Never mind that the guy is an irresponsible knucklehead, let's elect him anyway, because we're so PROGRESSIVE!! YAYYYYYYYY!!

Barf.

What? Bush didn't build a wall to keep illegals out so the base voted for a Dem who'll give illegals amnesty, 40 acres and a mule instead? Interest and utterly ludicrous logic. If you voted to teach a lesson, you failed.

"When all is said and done, I believe history will regard George W Bush as one of America's greatest presidents. "

So do I. But it is going to take some time and distance to allow people to really view his decisions objectively, and see the true results of those decisions.

That's what the damned Dems did when we were in Nam.

With President Nixon - a liberal-leaning Republican president. Regardless of the faults that President Bush may have, he has a special relationship with the military - he won't leave them out there 'hanging. JMO...
