HEY, I got one of the best peanut butter cookie recipes I've ever used (and the only one I use now) from an election thread!

With as many elections as there are going on...how would you find the results you were looking for on a single thread? The same way it has always been done.
Sheesh.

And that's the problem - people cluttering the election threads with recipes and discussions of their weather and other unrelated crap.

The 4 regional threads are a good idea. Or whatever is needed. :-)

Why don't we turn the whole site into one single thread?
Do you understand the concept of using threads to seperate things by topic? Putting all results into one thread would create a monster thread that everyone would be reloading every couple seconds. Nobody would be able to keep up with it.
To: Dog
The Mods have done this many times and their approach is the correct one.
Doing it by region as they are splits up the hundreds of races into a handful of threads.

Sometimes I wish FREEREPUBLIC was more like a message board.
The format is a little clunky during certain times like big events, the war, elections etc.
