Why can't this happen to me? I would enjoy being the topic of a self defense thread here on FR.

This why they NEVER let me work at the polling places.

A little (well, okay, a
lot) off subject, but a funny thing happened to me when I and hubby dear went to vote late this morning.
The lady was checking his card against "the book". With a charming smile I said, "Don't close that,'cause I'm next," and gave my name. A little ole blue-hair lady sitting next to the gal looked at me then asked my husband "She belong to you?"
Before hubby got his mouth even half open I snapped: (politely as possible) "I'm his wife...not his dog."
LOL! 'Course that embarrassed everybody except me and the little ole blue haired lady, God love 'er! ![](http://www.clicksmilies.com/s0105/spezial/Fool/bird.gif)

...for allegedly choking a voter and pushing him out the door... LOL!!! They **never** should have let any DUmmies work the polls.

Sounds like the kids who wouldn't answer the question on his assessment test and got susppended for it. I guess they're just preparing him for real life.

I thought an unprepared voter was going to go all DUmmie on the election judge this morning when he was told that he had to go to the proper precinct to vote. He was insisting that he could vote at any polling location and wanted his ballot RIGHT NOW!
