And I thought I had a difficult time voting. :D Sounds like a typical election day in Louisville, unfortunately.

I'd be interested to know the party affiliation of both the voter and the poll worker, and if they knew each other.

If you read the headline really fast it sounds more like a strip club story...

If this had happened here in Mississippi, the poll worker would have been dragged outside, tied to a tree, doused with sugar syrup and sprinkled liberally with fire ants!

Reminds me of the cool reaction i got when I voted at a primary election in downtown nyc one day. When I got to the desk, the old crow working the location screeched out 'democrat?'
I made a disgusted face and said, "Ma'am, PLEASE!"
Didn't go over well with her, or most of the slobs on line behind me. Dem-heavy city, you know.

In 2003 this county tried to bar Republican observers...
Now they have them arrested and call CNN.

My party affiliation is a source of conversation at my local precinct. The poll workers say, "Hey a Republican" Apparently I'm one of the few registered Republicans in the area. I say nothing.

Someone should that over-zealous Comrade to step into line -- the communist revolution hasn't been completed yet. Plenty of time to bludgeon the masses later.

That's the upside to crowded polls. The last few elections, I've worked close enough to my voting location that I had voted during my lunch break.
The plus; Almost no lines, in and out in less than 5 minutes.
The Minus; Very little potential for entertainment.

Interesting . . . .I got pushed out a door by a poll worker today, too! No choking, though.
Apparently this "gentleman" thought the 12-16 people waiting to vote or in the process of voting in the room was too much and when I tried to enter he pushed me back out the door. A woman came up behind me and loudly demanded to know if he was denying us the right to vote . . . .
I was finally allowed in when this putz deemed it "not overcrowded" . . . . .Sheesh - give some people a little bit of power and they go bananas!
