Reminds me of the cool reaction i got when I voted at a primary election in downtown nyc one day. When I got to the desk, the old crow working the location screeched out 'democrat?'
I made a disgusted face and said, "Ma'am, PLEASE!"
Didn't go over well with her, or most of the slobs on line behind me. Dem-heavy city, you know.

LOL - I had the same reaction when I much younger. I walked in and the workers had to give us the proper ballot. . .
She handed me the one for the Dems and I handed it back and very nicely told her that I was a Republican. She literally spit the word to the person next to her - with the Rep ballots. At first I was a bit thrown off by her lack of tact but then I just started to laugh.
