Just heard on the radio that a heavily republican precinct in NM district 1 (Wilson / Madrid race) had only 150 printed ballots this morining. As of 7 AM, there were over 200 people in line to vote. This is a mostly GOP-favorable precinct. The poll workers were actucally turning people away, telling them they'll call them (yeah, right) when new ballots are available. Heather Wilson was interviewed and she said it is criminal to have so few ballots (150 for over 2000 registered voters) for this polling location (this problem wasn't reported for Dem-leaning locations, of course). Lawyers for both sides are are on scene.
HIDEOUS.
I hope someone gets jail time if this was at all deliberate, which seems certain that it is.
Mary Hererra is blaming the Secretary of State's Office for the screwup! What a shameless piece of trash!
Although, no level of incompetence is beyond good old Rebecca Vigil Herron.
Besides all the finger pointing, has the actual issue been resolved?
770 said more ballots being printed/delivered. Still, damage done.
Enough is not quite enough
When U.S. Rep. Heather Wilson showed up at the Church of the Good Shepherd off Tramway Boulevard Northeast to encourage voters in the heavily Republican district to vote, she encountered a stream of voters saying they didn't have a chance.
Precinct 603 had run out of ballots. In a district with more than 2,000 registered voters, Precinct 603 had received 150 paper ballots, said precinct worker Linda Ransom.
Polls opened at 7 a.m. and it quickly became obvious there weren't enough ballots, Ransom said. By 8 a.m., poll workers had called Bernalillo County requesting more. By 9 a.m. the precinct was out.
Beyond the area in which electioneering is prohibited, Wilson workers took the names of voters who had been turned away. A representative of Wilson's challenger, Democratic Attorney General Patricia Madrid, stood nearby.
Additional ballots arrived shortly before 10 a.m. and voting resumed, but Wilson called a news conference for 10:30 to discuss the matter.

Can you send that link to drudge?
Donna Price, a poll worker with precinct 537, also at the Tramway and Paseo site, said people waited more than an hour. She said a poll worker at precinct 603 called repeatedly for more ballots.
"It's not fair. It's just like cheating," Price said.
A presiding judge at precinct 57 at Painted Sky Elementary near Unser and Ladera NW said the precinct opened with only 170 ballots and ran out by 8:30 a.m. About 2,500 are registered in the precinct.

Bernalillo county is amazing. They have issues every single time.
You for got the /sarc tag.
What ever happened to Chris Jackson on that new FM talk station?
She looks like her bowels have turned to liquid.
Station is now country. I guess Larry Ahrens ego was bigger than his ratings, and as far as CJ the rabbit boy is concerned... feh!
She's completely shameless. There will be no repercussions, trust me on that one.
I didn't know CFA was still around. What a loser.
I was hoping he'd get an Air America show. He's better than Franken and garafalo. :)
LOL
