There is a thread that this is good for the good guys. The only thing better than high turnout (which tends to favor the GOP more and more as the years go by) is crappy weather in the urban east. That means that the always highly-motivated broken glass GOP base will turn out with umbrellas, and the less-motivated Dems will stay home.
I'm liking our chances, and it ain't just the weather.

I am almost 100% sure they only do exit polls in heavy democrat districts.... how else are they going to pay their voters for services rendered?

I agree. I'm going to different forums to see if I can get some news as it happens.
The Dems I see being interviewed are all so juiliant, are they REALLY that far out of touch that their emotions are unwarranted, and we can still expect a GOP House?
Exit polls, though flawed, still some some data I'd like to know.

CNN had some exit polls, and they are as reliable as the "L A Times"

I was lazy. I got up a little late, drank my coffee, and listened to Boortz for a bit. I didn't go to vote until a little after 9:00. :) Slacker.

Did you just see the snake carville say that if the Dems don't take the House they should all march off a cliff like the Japanese during WWII?
And that if they lost "I'd wear something a lot worse than a trash can on my head!"
I am praying so hard that we keep the House...

Why?
I don't think this is a good decision. I'd rather know how badly the exit polls are skewed than not know anything at all. Why can't we post them and take them with the grain of salt they deserve?

So much for "Free Speech" at Free Republic.
To: HapaxLegamenon
I voted today, the folks checking me in joked that the doors wouldn't be opening to let me out unless I voted properly. Humph, whatever they meant by that.

So much for "Free Speech" at Free Republic. What are you talking about? This has been done to death - but here is a refresher course. Free Republic is Jim Robinson's house. We are guests in that house. He sets the rules in his house.
If we find his hospitality not to our liking, we are certainly free to not visit any more.
Capice?
