Here in State College PA, we're already having serious problems with the new touch screen machines at several precincts. A couple of polling places did not open at the regular 7:00 AM time. Lines are longer than usual in our little town, according to local radio, and some of that seems to have to do with voting machine problems and slow downs.

No "news" here, but a report:
My polling place here in Henrico was doing a relatively brisk business at 7:15 when I arrived. I heard that there were some issues at first getting the electronic voting machines working, but the line was moving and all machines were operating when I was there.
Jim Webb will be chagrined to learn that the African American voters there were not being repressed. They were showing their IDs and not getting arrested, harassed or anything of the sort. Oh well Jim, better luck in some of the NoVA districts.
Chalk up one more vote for out fine conservative candidates: Senator George Allen and Congressman Eric Cantor. And a big, fat YES to making marriage a union betwee one man and one woman in the Virginia constitution.

Voted @ 7:30 AM here in the LowCountry. My precinct had about 2 dozen people voting/waiting. All touch-screen, no waiting - and pouring rain.

Voted about 7:30 this morning, straight Republican ticket. I felt like one of those people that has that syndrome that you can't leave until you check everything a few hundred times. I must of checked to make sure the lights were lit on the pubbies names about 5 times, before I pushed the vote button....LOL.....

Wife and I were about #30 and #31 in our precinct. The lines were long, but moved pretty quickly, as they had almost 15 booths set up.
We got in line at about 0750, polls opened at 0800 and we were both done by 0820.
The atmosphere was friendly and calm. We live in a rural/suburban area, so no rabid moonbats were readily apparent.
There were no campaigners or exit pollers around, either.

It's 10:44 and I voted at 8:00.
Keeping my fingers crossed for the GOP.

Receieved email from GOP telling me to use their search for the correct polling location and it turns out their info is wrong.
Already knew my location which is why I was so disturbed by GOPs faulty info.
Saw this logo on my voting machine
I felt comfortable in my vote not being switched like the DUers will be. ;)

Just returned from voting. Straight Republican ticket. Santorum, Swann, Hart, Turzai, Orie. Not overly busy. One person in line before me. A little old lady who wanted to talk about everything under the sun with each and every poll worker. 5 more came in after I was in and I passed 5 more on their way in when I left.
North suburban precinct of Allegheny County. By the way, every where I drive around here has mostly Republican candidates signs. Hardly see any Democrats. Guess the Dems live in Pittsburgh.

I just voted, in strong Republican district in southwest Ohio. It was packed! I had to wait 30 minutes to vote, and there is a steady rain today, but the Republicans are out in force.
