I just finished my daily phone conversation with my daughter. She is stationed overseas in the Air Force and we talk every day when possible. During the conversation I asked her if she voted yet. She sighed and said "I was told my ballot was rejected because it was late. Again.". I asked "Were you timely?". She answered "Dad, I filled out my ballot and sent it back the day I received it. They did this to us the last time I tried to vote. WTF?"
The libs will try it again. Their power-madness transcends all decency, ethics, scruples, principles and fairness.
Welcome to the filthy liberal ThugoRats.
OH Canteen members you won't believe this crap AGAIN
Typical. Years ago when I was in the Navy, my Presidential ballot was "lost".
Kind of sad that they haven't fixed things since I was in. I saw about the secure email voting for the military but I saw nothing to state whether or not it was available at all overseas locations or units.
I had seen reports that some of the states were rejecting military ballots...for various reasons.
Remember this was a big problem in 2000..
You might want to send this thread to Rush, Hannity, Mark Levin...Laura Ingraham...THEY will make a big deal about it for SURE!!
How can it be "late" when all states are still accepting ballots? No deadline has passed for absentee ballots from an overseas military address.
Her tone of voice was very nonchalant, as if it was typical and expected.
But I am just fuming!
She has just returned from missions that make her entire family sit by the phone and worry, yet her vote does not count?
Good Lord, I am hopping mad!
Perhaps it wasn't her ballot that was rejected, but her registration request.
In every state that I know of the ballot will still be counted as long as it is postmarked prior to the polls closing on election day even if received at the election commission several weeks later.
Absentee ballots have to be postmarked by the 6th, today
Then what you said doesn't make sense. All states are still receiving absentee ballots from overseas military locations. No deadline for voting has passed.

She has been redeployed twice this year. I pray that is what is going on. But she does not miss details like that. Never has. She loves details.
Perhaps you are right, though.
My daughter (Baghdad) didn't get her ballot, but it was sent to her last station; she was moved just four weeks ago, but one would think that she would be able to vote by email, seeing as how she is still registered to her home base in Florida...
I'm still praying she gets the chance to vote.
