CNN Is Just Brutal

Posted on 11/06/2006 4:09:13 PM PST by lawnguy

Fellow Freepers, it's been a long time since I watched CNN. I've read your reports, and I knew it was bad, but I stopped by my parents house this evening, and happened to see a bit.

It was the most disgusting display of DNC propganda that I have ever seen.

First, Carville is on with Blitzed and J.C. Watts. Blitzed is hanging on every word spewed out by serpent head.

Then it's a story on the Evangelicals leaving because of the "shamed preacher" in Colorado.

Then there is a story about a "Republican" who is blaming Rumsfeld's bad advice on the Iraq problem. Guess who: Christopher Shays, that hardline Hawk. Like he's otherwise a stalwart in the Bush camp ;)

Then Jack Cafferty reads 5 anti-Bush e-mails. He reads 0 pro Bush e-mails.

Then Lou Dobbs comes on and goes into his one note Samba about the mad middle class. He was trying to salvage some sales of his recent flop book.

The DNC couldn't pay for better pub. It was disgusting, and I had to get the hell out of there quickly.

I so much want to hand these people there asses.

I try to monitor CNN, but it's tough to watch. You end up yelling at the tv. MSNBC is just as bad. Olberman is the absolute worst.

When you consider the staggering bias in the U.S. infostructure--liberals generally control it from preschool to the grave--it's a wonder anything other than liberals are EVER elected. Or more accurately, can you imagine what it would be like if the MSM simply reported the news in straight, totally unbiased fashion? If that were to happen, Democrats would be no more than a 20% presence in American politics.

The Foley story broke too early, so this perverted preacher story seems to have been released just before the election to try to revive the issue and depress Republican/conservative turnout on November 7. I never heard of the guy before they turned it into a big news story, but they would like you to believe he was more famous than Pope Benedict XVI, Billy Graham, and the Dalai Lama combined.

The good news is that the Caliphate News Network has gone way out a limb with their ridiculous polls, and they will be discredited by anything short of a D takeover of both houses.

CNN is a bunch of G*****mn schills for the dems. They no longer even try to lie to you and hide this fact. They are procommunist, prosocialist, prodemoncrat, haters of God, antiAmerican, and any other thing you can think of that is purulent in nature. A pus-filled boil on the ass of America.

There is one way to shut them up: Let's hold both houses of Congress tomorrow. Everybody vote!

CNN is on a full court press against the Pubs. They are helping the rats with all the bias they can muster. What a sham.

If the rats lose, then CNN loses even bigger. They have really hung themselves out for the rats.

The only reason I'm not completely conviced this is a purely rat socialist propaganda show is the little CNN letters in the Lower Leftist corner of my TV.

I've been flipping the channels a lot lately, and I've taken in more CNN than usual.

The past few weeks, the DNC propaganda has been full bore, hard core, pedal to the metal and nonstop at CNN. They have dropped any pretense to objectivity and are openly compaining for the Dems, more than ever.

Getting old is not so bad if you overlook all the bad stuff.

Your first vote for President was Nixon/McGovern? I attended both the democratic and republican conventions that year. Both were in Miami beach. The Republicans in July and the Dems in August. Damn, it is hot there in the summer. Collins avenue in front of the Fountainbleu Hotel was the place to be, and I was fortunate to have been on a 100 foot yacht, the El Presidente, moored directly actoss the street from the Fountainbleu, the headquarters hotel for both conventions. Those were some great memories.

Even though I have heard that refrain all my life "it's the worst I have ever seen", I have to agree that indeed, it IS the worst RIGHT now. I think it is qualitatively different from years and elections past: the machinery gets perfected day by day, there are more dirt-diggers , more talking-head "strategists",and this all becomes desperately NECESSARY from the Left, who then are relieved of the need to even come up with a "different vision for America". EVERY possible scandal is seized upon, exploited for its maximum propaganda value, hopefully extending it past whatever REAL concerns might threaten to break into the public consciousness and beg for a little attention.

The DNC couldn't pay for better pub.

You're wrong here mate. The propaganda they call journalism is not only driving less inclined conservatives to the voting booths, it is also getting those ever important swing voters out to the polls to vote Republican.

They vote because they know that even attempted deception of the voters with propaganda or biased marketing for one party is more dangerous than any politician. Many only get out there because they know that such obvious favoritism has no place in news.

It can even be argued that much of the popularity of talk radio is being driven by the same thing. So Wolf Blitzer, Chris Matthews, Ted Turner and Dan Rather can all sit back and enjoy the fact that their obvious blatant political bias actually does the opposite of what they hope and enhances markets for talk radio and conservative programming.

Way to go Ted!
