The blind party loyalists here are gloating that they're voting a straight "R" ballot for EVERY race, not just for legislative races.

Even so, I don't endorse blinding voting straight R in legislative races either. Linc "I voted against Bush for President" Chafee had the SAME "conservative" rating as Hilderbeast last year. If people are voting that turd in the hopes he'll support an "R" for majority leader, don't be surprised to watch him caucus with the Dems if it came down to the Senate being equally split. He's hinted at it many times. He's a "Republican" due to "family traditon" ONLY.

If Jeffords, Bob Taft, George Ryan, etc. haven't taught these people that blind party loyality can actually HURT the party's future prospects and "deliver" for the left, nothing will. I'm willing to hold my nose for a wimpy "moderate" like Kean or Dewine -- but I will NEVER vote for a Dem cheerleader like Chafee or Topinka.
