LANSING) - The Michigan GOP is getting an 11th hour boost by a fresh election poll. Mitchell Research has Dick DeVos trailing Governor Granholm by two points and Mike Bouchard four points behind incumbent Debbie Stabenow. Its findings contradict other weekend samplings by two other polling firms.

Yes, but don't underestimate the Dems and their "get out the dead vote" strategy.

More encouragement. I suspected Mitchell Research was a GOP firm, but have not been able to find any such reference. It appears to be an independent Michigan-focused firm. Yes??

I saw this yesterday. Bouchard and Devos are surging. This is a wonderful turn around. The conservatives and independents are coming home. The stakes are high and the day will be won at the polls not on CNN. If they do not take the House or Senate, which I think they will not, it is an indicator where their strategy failed. If I am not mistaken, a majority of conservatives and independents also favor fox news and talk radio. This is where the Democrats don't compete well. This is also where the Kerry gaff ran like one big anti-Democrat campaign ad.

They must have heard the other races were closer than once thought and suddenly decided they did not wish to be laughed at on Wednesday morning--so: they decided to poll outside of Detroit!

You know, the more I think of this....

She is an incumbent, and only has a 2% lead the day before?

Under polling GOP-ers, The state malaise, Malcomb County Reagan Democrats, and the GOTV effort ought to be scaring the daylights out of her.

I figured they would be closer than polls thought. However, I still think Granholm and Stabenow will hold on, unfortunately.

Good news in both races.

Down with the dimocrats!

Vote and vote conservative. Both these voices are good conservative voices.
